DEVELOPING: Pembroke Pines officials have locked down all schools in the area as a precaution due to an unconfirmed but credible threat, Fox News confirms.

The Pembroke Pines Police Department said Wednesday that it received a "possible threat" at 8:40 a.m. in reference to schools within the city of Pembroke Pines.
