Not run by them, but likely funded, tracked, and monitored by them. Everything is.

I wouldn't worry about it to much though. I've been coming here for at least a decade without issue. Occasionally an agenda of one stripe or another becomes visible temporarily. I just ignore it, stay away from those threads, and carry on about my business of picking through info for nuggets of truth.
