The Egyptians, as do any people, have a right to determine their own future and to not be controlled by outside influences.

The U.S. and Israel have obviously done something to earn the scorn of many Egyptian people (billions of others as well). Maybe it was their support for that dictator who has been in power for nearly 30 years?

It would be incredibly bad PR to keep supporting Mubarak when the majority of Egyptians want him out of power.

The Muslim Brotherhood, when it was reformed in the 1960's, denounced the use of violence as a means to achieve its goals.
