I spent 20 years trying to get to the bottom of this subject and ended at the same conclusion many long time researchers eventually do after much personal turmoil. These are extradimensional, not extraterrestrial. They appear as physical craft but are actually a combination of hundreds/thousands of entities "forcing" their way into our dimension. They first appear as a ball of light then manifest into a physical looking craft of choice. Same with all the different "races" of "aliens". Creatures we see; bigfoot ect. are from the same place but seems to travel between realms easier. The rabbit hole goes a lot deeeper but this is enough for me to say. The bottom line is don't trust any of them. The dimension they're coming from is one that they're trying to escape. It's not a place you want to visit or find yourself.
