not sure... depends on when the data can be an accademic release.. a pre-paper can be the get go i suspect.. not much interest here tho... not that i know, i am an amature, i would 'suspect' someone maybe looking into the worthyness of an accademic paper methinks..... ;)

I suspect that many papers will be forthcoming...

We must remember, that in the case of radiation contamination, many years, generations even.. will pass, before the full effects can be known.

The nuclear industry uses this to their advantage very effectively.

if thats exhaust the engine has blown in style. its not come from the left crane as smoke stil there when it moves and it wouldnt be going anywhere with such a plum -the plum would have increased as it drove away -not present. -most likely it was moving from whatever potential danger, imo. (im a qualified mechanical and power plant engineer with experience)

NRA: fuel reprocessors must meet safety standards

The head of Japan's nuclear regulatory body says all nuclear facilities, not only power plants, must meet new safety standards to begin operation.

The Nuclear Regulation Authority plans to draw up new safety standards for nuclear power plants by July and screen applications from power companies to restart such plants.

Authority Chairman Shunichi Tanaka said on Wednesday that other nuclear facilities, such as spent-fuel reprocessing plants and test reactors, must also meet new safety standards, to be drawn up by December.

Senior vice minister inspects decontamination work

A top official of Japan's Environment Ministry has inspected decontamination work in Fukushima Prefecture after reports of shoddy work practices.

Senior Vice Minister Shinji Inoue visited Tamura City and Naraha Town on Wednesday.

The government is in charge of efforts in the prefecture to remove soil and leaves tainted with radioactive fallout from the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.

Two contractors have been found to have improperly disposed of water used in their decontamination work.
