I like to feel my toes all year, not just 3 out of 4 seasons Quoting: flavapor It 15 here right now. It sucks. Can't wait for spring/summer. Have a safe trip home and stop for breaks so you don't get too tired. It's a long way to sit. |

Seriously, I was thinking about a middle meeting earlier. That would be really good. Or somewhere everyone can get to easily and NOT need a passport. Mine's expired and not sure I want the new one. |

Near a whitewater rafting river, my new favorite sport That's a great idea. Arrgh. Gotta catch a couple hrs. this time for real. Nite guys. Nite, Nine's. I have to sit up for a few more minutes. The vitamins get stuck otherwise! See you guys in the daylight! Nite, Flav. |

Bad little kitteh decided to take out the modem. Had to go through the reset procedure several times. Finally ended up killing the power to everything and then turning it back on again in the morning. Seems to have fixed the problem. Other than that, I have been glued to my new Kindle Fire. This is a serious issue for a bookaholic like me. At least with old fashioned books I would read till I was out and then had to wait to restock at the used book store. Now I will never be out. I already have books on the waiting list for download the the county library. Damn, not really sure this a a good thing for me. I see mountains of backed up laundry because "I just need to read a few more pages". I have learned that a few pages is at least 200 for me. I read a quick mystery book set on the Oregon coast and now I am reading the last book in the "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" series (The Girl that Kicked the Hornets Nest). I now have a budget for magnifiers built into my household budget! I break them all the time cause I take them on and off every few mins and stretch them out, then hubby gets them, does the same thing, than they are trashed. We go thru a few pair a month, plus we loose them often too, but usually find them a week later. Quoting: flavapor We have the opposite problem here. Hubby sees great for distance but not up close. Guess we make a good pair. I caught him trying on Cheater Readers at Fred Meyer (Krogers). Told him to find a pair and throw them in the cart but he wouldn't do it. He has always looked so young for his age. He hardly has any gray hair, and mine is all gray in the front. Thank goodness for my stylist! Cheater readers are cheap and handy. He had really bad vision when we first met, 20/200. He had RK surgery so was able to go to 20/20 and 20/30. That was the end of his coke bottle glasses.
