But I am nowhere near Barnegat, so somewhere in Monmouth Country must have also had fireworks tonight. Although I only heard the sounds for a few minutes, around 9:30, which is weird. If it was fireworks, def. inappropriate to say the least. If it wasn't, then WTF was it?? |

Burt, I'll say it again. Barnegate is 55 miles EAST of here. The sounds are coming from my north northwest. Fireworks sounds don't carry 55 miles. DUH Last Edited by Housedad on 09/10/2011 09:51 PM There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet, and the only way these people can get on with their happy lives is that they DO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT! -Men in Black |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1544140 United States 09/10/2011 10:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Really now? 9/11 eve sacred? Fireworks not appropriate? I can see it now Monday morning some knee jerk legislation. No fireworks 72 hrs before or after 9/11. Life goes on. September has always been a festival month. What we have here is a case of a few folks that have been "terrorized". With a boom or screech of tires a shade of skin darker or an unfamiliar language.. somethings a foot. Rinse..Lather...Repeat Oh yeah and good old thunder will do it too. How large do those puppy vests get anyway? |
