Good morning,

My boyfriend joined the site ZIINGA to see how the auctions worked, there was and took no notice would have to pay every three months a monthly fee.

Well after the inscription he had access to just about 5créditos order to experience the site free of charge and when he won the second bid a photographic machine for € 3 or so.

He got all excited and tried everything to get him podessem send the machine.

Scanned documents, filed a registration form and had to create a ghost card for payment up ... so good.

2meses passed and no camera, a terror when my boyfriend starts to receive e-mails to say you have a debt of € 67 and just outstanding. Was very surprised to read the terms and conditions of the site to clarify the whole situation. With all the lack of attention also noticed that it is not only to repay the debt but also an account cancellation fee of approximately € 40.

When in reality we have no certainty that we will receive the camera, even though all the documentation.

We assume the failure to pay attention to the TERMS AND CONDITIONS and now a legal obligation to pay the same for not having future problems but guarantees that we will receive the material has already been paid and all the documentation?

ALL PEOPLE ARE DOING IN ATTENTION TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS SITE.

Who has not experienced THESE SITES SHOULD INFORM VERY WELL BEFORE REGISTERING.

RUNNING TIME IN A FAILURE MAY BE FATAL ...

FEEL THE DUPED, circumvented.

Ziinga has been stealing 100 dollars out of my account each month, it said it was FREE but its NOT. DONT TRUST ZIINGA. And check your bank accounts! Im so pissed and I have no idea if ill get my money back.

they do not have to get up, withdraw money from the account are not allowed to do so or data. but they sent me an email saying that I am indebted to them, to settle the debt as fast as possible. if you do not pay will be sent collectors of debts and have to pay a fine of € 500 in interest. this is not normal.

Re: PENNY AUCTIONS - ZIINGA A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell me how can a 16 year old buy off a site that is intended for 18 years and above. She thought she was on a site like trade me and though wow bought an kitset for ipod for 3.62 t 1.00 for postage. Waited for the item knew she had paid for it but hadn't read the fine print. She couldn't understand why the bank has tried to take 119.00 out of her account so cancelled payment before it went through. Ziinga rang next day to say she had agreed which she hadn't what 16 year old does read terms and conditions. Now we have to pay 68.00 for cancellation of the agreement what a fucked up scammer this is I am reporting this to the media and higher places how can they justify this they take your money. Must be real low life people who will steal off a 16 year old

I have also been caught up in protracted communications with Ziinga. After giving my details (silly me), I then cancelled everything, but they tried to take a membership fee which fortunately my credit card company blocked. Ever since, I have been bombarded with emails demanding the membership fee, even though I had cancelled it. I now don't know how to proceed except to just ignore the emails and assign them as spam. Any suggestions?

Yep agree as I've just requested a refund from them now. They took 118.99 out of my account without even asking. I didn't even request that amount to be withdrawn. Luckily it was on hold in my account and i got my bank to stop the payment. They are scamming scums....

If you're surprised that a website offering 95% off of retail is not legitimate, you have bigger problems than being scammed out of $180.

Re: PENNY AUCTIONS - ZIINGA A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ziinga is a scam because you are bound to 3 months platinum membership in their T&C's, but not all penny auctions are scams.

You can win on them if you are happy to gamble and spend (usually big!) money, I personally would never use these sites but for those who say the companies can't get stock at those prices just don't know how they work, it's simple and even the legit companies make a ton of cash, a colleague set one up and this is how it works:

Each bid increases the price by 1p and if you are the final bidder you get to buy at that price. Great!

Each 1p bid actually costs £1 to buy and bids are only available in £10, £20 and £50 bundles. Most winners need multiple bids to win, on average it takes 17 bids per user per win. So the iPad that sold for £41 will cost you the £41 + the £17 (or however many bids you used) for buying the bids in the first place. Often people can spend £50+ on bids before they realise.

Remember when one of these auctions finishes, the company have made a ton of cash, each bid costs £1 but only increases the price by 1p so an iPad that finishes at £41 has actually had 4100 bids at £1 each. Even if the company pays full retail price at £500, they've just netted themselves £4100 in bids alone (not including any unused bids sold in a bundle).

Ziinga is a rip off for it's own reasons but penny auctions in general are just another form of gambling, are you willing to bet £20 that you might get lucky and win an iPad/iPhone/Vanity gadget? I think they're morally corrupt but not outright rip offs, you have a little more control than the lottery but not by much. Next time you see one of these sites boasting somebody won a brand new KIA car for just £434 just remember that site has made £43,400 for a £8000 car....

Yes, it is a scam...
But addmittadly do any of you actually read the fine print.

I 'won' a phone for $4.
then under the account sign up, read the terms and conditions your agreeing to.
It says you must sign up for 3 months membership before they can actually ship you the item.
3 months membership at $90 per month.

It says it all. so i decided not to give them any financial information.
If you all read the fine print and t's and c's, you wouldn't have been fooled so easily...

Maybe you should try quibids next.

All those people having a go at us who got conned are idiots themselves. This site is professional and illegal. To get their first customer they offer you a cheap product which is sound advertising, but thats not what you get. T&C are not the contract you are signing up for and are not to include what you are buying but what the t&C are on what you buy. This crowd hide what you actually buy in the T&C and not untill you get the receipt do you really know you are in a 3 month contract. It looks no different to ebay but with an initial incentive. We must get the site closed down.

Re: PENNY AUCTIONS - ZIINGA A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took the time to read QuiBids terms and conditions. I watched some of the bidding to see what happened. I then sat with a calculator and worked out that QuiBids were getting at least $3,200.00 for a $750.00 TV on the basis of the cost to the people using their bidding 'tokens'.

Scammers will take into account that (usually) no-one reads their terms and conditions and will put a financial noose in there somewhere. See if your country has an 'Electronic Transactions Act' or similar, to see if there are protections or if you have any legal recourse.

Also, don't hanker after material crap that you can well do without. These mobs squeeze people, prey upon their greed and the need to 'win' or to 'keep up with the Joneses'.

A fool and his money are soon parted. The scammers are hard at it and love your money more than anything else.

Spamming the crap out of these scammers sounds like the go. Email them and cc in the other scammers that have this same sort of set up. That way they will know that the game is up on all fronts.

Re: PENNY AUCTIONS - ZIINGA A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't anyone who has anything good to say about this scam company. How is it that such companies are allowed to con people like this?

They con you into thinking you've won an ipod shuffle etc, filling the screen with flashy pics and sentences drawing you into a false world of happiness, before you know it, you're in the middle of some random auction.

Before you know it, you're £60 shy in your bank account, and realising you've just been mugged off.

Companies like this are always created by people who have to hide. Or con people as much as possible then run off and start up another scam business. I bet they have to look over their shoulder all the time in case they meet up with an unhappy customer.

Scum! The lot of them. Worthless dirt on the bottom of my shoes. I hope they can never escape from reading or hearing about how much people despise them.

I have no problem paying for things I want, even if it may be pricey. But why con me for it?
