I feel my left ear is ringing more but I can hear it in both.


2. If so, what type of ringing?..Does it sound like an old TV or is it a hum or is it off and on. etc

It's hard to say what it sounds like but it's not a hum you make with the mouth. It's a little bit lower then the ring you get from stress.

3. How long have you had the ringing for?

At least 9 years.

4. Do you feel that the ringing is caused by Ear damage , natural reasons or old age...or does it seem like its not normal?

I do feel it could be caused by Eat damage but I have been to concerts and that ringing is louder and goes away.

5. on Nov 9th did you "Listen" to the National FEMA test on TV or Radio.?

Nope, I heard that played Lady Gaga. LOL

It's same, unless very sleepy or sick.

Never pay attention to it but I can feel a small tingling but I can create tingling anywhere on my body, so it's hard to say.

I have been told this, it's hard to know what I am. I tented to think i'm not anywhere near the word "normal"

I try to be a 10 but I find i'm more of a 7 to 8.

4 to 5. I have rules in place to make sure I give more then take. Like I do not take the last of anything that is not mine. If I start to feel greedy at any point I quit the thought and give.

I like in Charlotte, NC. Which I think is a Large City but it's no New York City by no means.

Tinnitus is a very common sign of aging. In medicine there is a saying, look for horses first then zebras. Horses are common, zebras rare. Implying that patients have tinnitus and implying a rare outlandish cause might be within the realm of possibility, but a much more likely cause is listening to loud music 10-20 years ago and paying the price now. This also would mean that maybe something that the patient did created the conditions that allowed the injury to happen. Many people don't want to take personal responsibility for their health. Blaming it on a zebra cause makes them feel like victims.

Don't get me wrong. There are certainly things that might be causing tinnitus. Maybe certain folks are more sensitive and hence they can perceive some auditory effect of an odd frequency that is being generated by natural or artificial means. But is it likely?

A real survey for a medical condition will ask people about all kinds of occupational or recreational activities that might have caused it, like loud repetitive machinery and no hearing protection, or being a hunter or target shooter, etc.

i wish people would shut up about it being something natural...there is a bb sized implant in my right ear that i noticed when i woke up and my ear was bloody a few years ago.

B-12 took away the ringing in my ears. i had it for almost 50 years. like the old elc. wire ring i had. so glad it has stopped.

yes all the time and I can really hear it when I lay down at night and concentrate on it. Sometimes it is extremely loud.

OP: I think my ears ring from listening to my mp3 player really loud, dont' sleep enough, and have anemia, and low thyroid, and a vitamin d3 deficiency..

I'm sure there are other things but never mind...

Go get a check up.

1. It is a constant high pitched noise that comes in waves. I used to think the waves were in tune with my heart beat but it's not, totally random. Sometimes it's louder than other times. I try to ignore it as much as possible and sometimes I don't even notice my ears are ringing till it stops.


2. 10 years, maybe longer. Long enough to piss me off.


3. I have a feeling something odd is happening. I know I'm an Indigo Child so that might have something to do with it.


4. The ringing is constant throughout the day but that's when I'm most busiest and don't really pay attention to it. I would agree yes as I go to bed, but that's when I'm in a relaxed mode and not distracted.

6. Yes big time. I always see 11:11 especially in the pm literally 6 days a week. I'll even see it in random places other than clocks like my attention was drawn to it for some reason.

you used to see werid posts on the internet by people who were being targeted with microwave beams

now it's ringing ears

listening to white noise can greatly reduce the effect …especially the first time you try it.

i am not joking about my ringing but is everyone here really experiencing it?

I do have a ringing in the ears. If it's completely silent... I can focus on the "droning" noise that seems overwhelming, but only if completely silent. I think that it's a medical condition.


However, at times... (happened as I was reading this) there was the other ringing noise that i get.

It's like a diiiiing... and goes away.

It could be early onset tinnitus?

Idk. I'm only 23... but my hearing is terrible, anyway.

Used to think I was something like a light worker... but I think that's some sort of coping mechanism. I've done some shitty things in life.

I'm a pretty big loner... I'm not really egotistical, though. I try to be caring and I will do things for others without trying to expect anything back. It's a process, I try to better myself.

Question 10 is very odd.... My mom passed away on April 17 of this year.

it was very weird. she came to me, asked me a question about how things were going... and then she died an hour later. nobody knew she was sick or if she even was sick. nobody expected it.... and still we don't know how she died.

a massive heart attack is what the experts guess. i hate knowing that ill never know.

I'm still a little shook up about it.
She was only 43, and I miss her dearly.

She was the only parent that raised me.

The ringing in the ear is more intense but a short duration, I had it very intense last night and this morning.
