everytime i hear that hog open her mouth i want to bash my head into a brick wall

usually it's while i am driving so i consider running myself off the road but usually fighting my wife for the radio button works.

I like her music and her voice. It is a sad revelation about our culture that talented people should not be heard because they are a little chubby. Our stupid culture makes stars out of people with very little talent because they are skinny and weird.

yeah, she has a great singing voice, not whiney at all. she can sing acapella and still sound great. Most have to have a slew singing with them, if they can sing at all. and unlike rap there's actually a melody so it qualifies and a song.

I change my radio channel every time her music comes on.... And I didn't even know she was fat when I was doing that....

Hadn't actually heard of her. Looked her up on youtube. I guess I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to her, but she's certainly not a bad singer. I'd rather listen to her than 98% of the garbage I'm forced to listen to everyday at work.

She's English and She Sings like an American, so she obviously admires American culture.

Who wants to start taking bets now that she joins "club 27" and then she is given "legendary" status.

Then we are forced to hear her for 40 years like you hear nirvana every other song on the rock radio, even though kurts been dead for 20 years.

Anyone? I mean think about it she's a fat chain smoker that can't even admit to the fact that the cigs are causing her voice to go so much that she had to cancel 2 tours and have throat surgery.

Instead she blames it on "talking to much" she sounds like a weak willed person to me.

If you put her aside most all of the TERRIBLE stuff on the radio she is decent.

Still commercial radio as a whole is just a pit, a pile, a big old bag of $%#@ rammed down our throats by big corporations who want us to sing sing along with a bunch of useless boring $^#*.

If you dig Underground there are so many more artists who are way way way way way more interesting, unique, expressive... there are a thousand artists who will never touch the radio because they have something to say that THE MAN would rather you NOT hear.

Today Listening to RADIO for your music is like getting your news from FOX and CNN and no where else.

I still do not know any of her music though I hear people crowing about her everywhere...Maybe I have heard ti on the radio but I don't know. Don't really care.

real good rock stars, dancers, comedians, actors dont even try. they party and drink all night and turn up to whatever the next day and just kill it. no effort required. natual raw talent. all these solo girls trying to 'channel' aretha and xtina its just totally pathetic and lame.

Not a huge fan of the two radio play songs, but I recently heard the rest of the songs on her album.. and they're quite good. They're not nearly as whiney or preachy. I can see how she was very upset when Amy Whinehouse died as there is a lot of parallels between the two (and they were friends obviously).

I agree. What I can't agree with is a music industry full of boycotts on music at least as good as this, and so much more often better. She has my respect though.
