Slayer is pretty damn over-rated. I understand the pioneering of that genre and such, but Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman are... fairly boring guitarists imo. But Dave Lombardo and Tom Araya help balance those two clowns out. I mean the guitar section gets the job done and all, but they are by fair the corniest of metal guitarists.

Hell, least they carry the thrash torch flame forward, which is personally my favorite form of metal.

God I miss this album

I agree with you on almost everything. But with my life and how I picture nostalgia they nail it. And I now look back and can consider Kerry King a joke. I don't look at them the same way as I once did and that is just my evolution through music. But when I put that album on now it's all Dave. So thank you for your honesty. What are you into? I would love to hear some suggestions.

I was more of a Pantera fan and I consider Dimebag a god haha
