Sheesh. I'm disappointed in y'all.

"Obama Defies Congress with Recess Picks."

[link to www.washingtontimes.com]

Obama just "installed" four new people into important positions while Congress was on recess. Main-stream news is describing this as an UNPRECEDENTED unconstitutional power grab.

Main-stream NEWS.

The best part of the article above is THE COMMENTS.

People understand - martial law is coming.

This is no longer some secret maneuver. Obama is openly and unabashedly violating the constitution now.

Actually the reason this is newsworthy is that the Senate is NOT recessed.

That means Obama had to send his appointees through the senate for confirmation, he didn't and in doing so is acting like a dictator.

According to the Congressional Research Service, President Bill Clinton made 139 recess appointments. President George W. Bush made 171 recess appointments, and as of December 8, 2011, President Barack Obama had made 28 recess appointments.

Obama made these appointment when the Senate was NOT in recess so the Senate should have had to confirm these appointments.

Nothing new here really. Clinton and Bush made a ton of recess appointments.

How often have recent presidents made recess appointments?

Bill Clinton made 139 recess appointments, 95 to full-time positions. George W. Bush made 171 recess appointments, 99 of them were for full-time gigs. As of Wednesday, President Obama has made 32 recess appointments, all of them to full-time positions, according to the White House

this is going as planned, by tptb....its politics
its all scripted

"they" want people to be divided = Democrats vs. Republicans
its NOT(~)...

its: We the People vs. the pos politicians.

You want Change > STOP voting for the pos politicians.

vendetta
We get the powers over us that we've earned collectively. Humanity, as a whole, is self-interested, shallow, ignorant, violent and immoral; small wonder, therefore, that our leaders (secret or otherwise) reflect that. You want better leaders, become better people.

There is just one problem with the Mother Jones article, it is pure unadulterated bullshit.

When Bush used a recess appointment to make John Bolton our UN ambassador, he was not rejected by the Senate nor had he been rejected, and the senate was actually recessed at the time (Blame Harry Reid). Bush did so because he knew that the democrats would not allow Bolton to be our ambassador and like all recess appointment the senate had the right to confirm or REMOVE Bolton once they were back in session.

What did they do?

it has nothing to do with race or political party for me...it has everything to do with the fact that he signed a bill that allows for the indefinite detention of anyone anywhere...i might get some "oh but it doesnt pertain to american citizens" to that id like to point out that it says the military is not required to indefinitely detain citizens...this means they can they just dont have to like they are required to with non citizens. i was also outraged when bush signed patriot act...and when obama signed the 2nd one with the autopen.

Americans do not understand that the desired result of the PTB is the same as what happened in the USSR.

How many millions of Christians were killed?
20 million?

This time it is going to be much, much worse.

America is already operating under the Noahide laws, which means that worshipping Jesus is blasphemy and it is punishable by death.

Ok so NOW you guys scream your rights and constitution are being violated, what about years ago? Do you guys know what he was doing actually? I bet 90% of you all didn't read the complete article or even understand the content/reasoning of his actions. Ok so he bypassed Congress, which is by the way mostly consisting of bought corrupt Globalists that have not the best interest of Americans in mind, but only what goes into their own pockets.
From the article I found this interesting:

Supporters of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau have said the lack of a top executive has blocked the fledgling agency from taking on a number of tasks in its mandate to police the financial sector and protect consumers from fraud.

Consumer groups and labor union advocates cheered Mr. Obama’s moves.

Maybe some of you should try to look at what he's doing closer - maybe he's trying to wake some of you all up, but most are still too much sheep to realize what games are being played. He's playing some hard core poker here and you all are folding instead of calling....removing HIM isn't the solution. Look elsewhere.

So what I'm getting from most of these replies is that since it was done before , it's ok now.
You all get what you deserve.
Congress was still in session and Boehner should be out in front takin this on. But he won't, because the Republitards will use it too when they feel like it.
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.

I have a lot of friends in the US that I have known for years and I can tell you the average Joe could care less about this and many of the other things being done by Obama because they are so sick and tired of your Congress being dysfunctional.

It is like a huge class three ring circus of buffoons who are in the end only concerned about staying on the gravy train. The fight about everything and never accomplish anything beyond creating a bunch of bullshit theatrics and drama.

It is like people are just saying "fuck it" and slapping on the blinders, ignore the government completely and get on with day to day life because it is tough go right now for many.
