Apart from the imaginings of a few people on fringe boards like GLP, there's absolutely no evidence of any physical pole shift. Ancient monuments, built over 4,000 years ago, still show the sun and moon are in the same position in the sky they always have been, and modern precision measurements also show no changes, so the earth's pjysical axis hasn't moved.

The magnetic poles move, and they always have done - we have geomagnetic evidence going back millions of years which show continual movement. Occasionally they do "flip", and likely will do in the next 10,000 years or so. However there's no evidence of any effects on life at the times they do - i.e. no mass extinctions.

"Dimensional shift" is just new-agey pseudo-religious gibberish with no supporting evidence.

All of the above is common knowledge.

They are not hiding anything...Polar shifting has always occurred and the measurements are there for everyone to see...Last I checked it was still up North. If a Magnetic reversal did happen, it is not going to cause the average person anything more than the purchase of a new compass ...And again, that information is all readily available.

Mass fish and bird die off...If you check USGS, (Link showing mass deaths back to 1995 included) it has been happening for decades...It is not uncommon, averaged to 1 mass die-off every other day...Only recently has it been reported by the media, probably because of the New Year's deal last year. Exactly what Earth Changes do you mean??? Everything seems fine here...The weather is no more off this year than any other year, I don't remember it ever to be exact. No increase in natural disasters, rain, unusual temps, etc...Again, media coverage is up, the events are not.

Please, don't be so closed minded and paranoid...The professionals and media are not covering up/deceiving anyone...There are just too many world wide for them all to be in on it, some person or small country would love that claim to fame...You can't silence everyone and everyone is not out to get you. Gondwana Supercontinent Underwent Massive Shift During Cambrian Explosion

ScienceDaily (Aug. 10, 2010) — The Gondwana supercontinent underwent a 60-degree rotation across Earth's surface during the Early Cambrian period, according to new evidence uncovered by a team of Yale University geologists. Gondwana made up the southern half of Pangaea, the giant supercontinent that constituted the Earth's landmass before it broke up into the separate continents we see today.

The study, which appears in the August issue of the journal Geology, has implications for the environmental conditions that existed at a crucial period in Earth's evolutionary history called the Cambrian explosion, when most of the major groups of complex animals rapidly appeared.

The team studied the paleomagnetic record of the Amadeus Basin in central Australia, which was part of the Gondwana precursor supercontinent. Based on the directions of the ancient rock's magnetization, they discovered that the entire Gondwana landmass underwent a rapid 60-degree rotational shift, with some regions attaining a speed of at least 16 (+12/-8) cm/year, about 525 million years ago. By comparison, the fastest shifts we see today are at speeds of about four cm/year.

This was the first large-scale rotation that Gondwana underwent after forming, said Ross Mitchell, a Yale graduate student and author of the study. The shift could either be the result of plate tectonics (the individual motion of continental plates with respect to one another) or "true polar wander," in which the Earth's solid land mass (down to the liquid outer core almost 3,000 km deep) rotates together with respect to the planet's rotational axis, changing the location of the geographic poles, Mitchell said.
