oh i think you are probably more of a know it all than me, but i will say this, the laws associated with the libyan gov. providing housing were limiting to those being provided the housing. As far as the reaction to those laws by people in the U.S. if they were applied to them, I'd say it would be mixed as are the people in this country in their beliefs and sentiments. As for the argument that I sense you would like to promote, I'm reminded that people tend to believe what the want to believe, regardless of the facts.

You talk about torture in Libya? What evidence? If you read past reports about Libya you will see that only 4 people within 4 years died under police custody. In England, 4 people die under police custody every week or month.

You talk about killings? Reading past reports about Libya, it reveals that 18 people were executed in Libya in 2010, that is half compared to US where 46 people were executed in 2010. I hear ignorant people bark alot because they are ignorant of that own ignorance, upsetting and funny at the same time.

That being said, I have noticed all brainwashed individuals have one thing in common when it comes to Libya, when you ask them for evidence of the accusations and rumours they blabber regarding Libya, they seem to always talk about the Abu Salim prison riots. I bet you have never once even read a report about the Abu Salim prison riots, have you? A honest question/

If you have read the reports, please tell me who were the witnesses? Name them, was there any witness?

If you haven't, then I will give you a snip of what all the reports say because I'm out of time and need to go have dinner:

All the reports say that there was riots in the prison, all the reports say that prisoners took 3-4 guards hostage, all the reports say that one of the guards was murdered, all of the reports say that in the process of rescuing the other 2-3 guards an "X" amount of prisoners were killed.

The only difference between the different reports is the number of prisoners killed, one reports says dozens killed, another report says 1,270 killed.

The report which says that a massacre took place (1,270 people killed) is backed by 1 witness, can you believe that? 1 witness with absolutely no credibility is used to support the outlandish claim that 1,270 people were killed in the prison.

Just like the claim that Qaddafi was supplying Libyan troops with Viagra and suddenly everyone started believing the most insane claim in history, why? Because TV said so, without any evidence, or even any history to back up such an outlandish claim, but none the less, it was spread like a wild fire and idiots jumped in the band wagon, they call it the sheep mentality.

In Libya's socialist system a nation of people living mostly in tents got houses, cars, medical care, education, the necessary land and equipment to farm, money for newly married young couples, and FRESH CLEAN WATER. They were a DEBT FREE people. They had the highest standard of living in Africa. WOMEN WERE EQUAL. Nobody was clamoring to have NATO hire terrorists to strip them of everything and put them in debt to international banksters into perpetuity. Well, that's what they have now. They were better off under Italian colonialism then they are now.
