Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10555199 Right, leave it to the propaganda machine to claim the Iranians are the evil ones for shutting off the oil flow. so... fixed |

Up to now they have been trading without the dollar only on biproducts from oil but as from March Iran will be selling oil without the dollar. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8584993 Iran is also selling oil to India in return for Gold and they will be negotiating with China in yuan. Iran has agreed with China if they can not recieve money for its oil then they will buy goods in return. That makes no sense why would Iran buy goods from China if China cant pay for oil? woot? ever heard of barter maet? btw - juan, gold and goods are enough maybe also some military equipement or investitions 250k growth in trade with China is more than the whole EU buys from them |

Libya can compensate 69% of the Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4748705 loss of Iran oil supply, another reason why Libya was bombed. its no big deal.. other countriest already said they would step up and make up for Iran being little babies.. thats not so simple - you cant just increase output 'at wish' it will take some time and Libya is destroyed so rebuilding infra will take some time (and it seems civil war is about to blow full scale again there) |

The Arab uprisings were probably initiated to destroy current regimes and to set up puppet regimes so the opposition to aggression against Iran would be controlled. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 7863010 Switzerland 02/19/2012 01:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How Iran Changed The World By Sharmine Narwani Feb 19, 2012 - 2:28:01 AM Imagine this scenario: A developing nation decides to selectively share its precious natural resource, selling only to "friendly" countries and not "hostile" ones. Now imagine this is oil we're talking about and the nation in question is the Islamic Republic of Iran... Early news reports on Wednesday claimed that Iran pre-empted European Union sanctions by turning off the oil spigot to six member-states: the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France, Greece and Portugal. The reports were premature. According to a highly-placed source in the country, Iran will only stop its oil supply to these nations if they fail to adopt new trading conditions: 1) signing 3 to 5-year contracts to import Iranian oil, with all agreements concluded prior to March 21, and 2) payment for the oil will no longer be accepted within 60-day cycles, as in the past, and must instead be honored immediately. As long as Russia and China are not onboard then its a total stall for Iran as with North Korea. Next it's a nuke test followed by nothing done ! This is all retoric and will only help Iran as in Oil prices skyrocketing !What a gimmick |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 11074547 United Kingdom 02/19/2012 03:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | its all part of the plan to increase oil to high prices diesel in the UK is already at an all time high .... higher fuel prices mean more money for the government to bail them out of the banking crisis and all the other bullshit they have caused so this has all been planned and all revolves around generating more cash then, they need to crate another big war, as the companies who make weapons need to keep their staff in employment .... no war means no weapon sales ....means people being retrenched/laid off .... means hungry people .... means angry people.... means people hate their governments as they are poor thats why they won't release the technology that eliminates oil .... too many people will be out of work, and too little cash will be in the state coffers it's one big circle .... and all revolves around money sad |
