Don't worry... They are working very hard at making it illegal to even TRY and defend yourself and your rights, in any way.

It's already legal to arrest you whether you've done anything or not, with no charges whatsoever. It's now legal to throw you in prison forever, with NO CHARGES, no trial, let alone any conviction.

Hell, it's even legal to torture you, execute you, or assassinate you. All with no crime having been committed.

And the truth is cops are not there to "serve and protect" anymore. Used to see that slogan on almost every cop car 20 years ago. Cops are a different breed now.

2008- putting up Ron Paul signs, which is legal in the city I was in. Made a u-turn at a light and pulled into a strip mall parking lot. Pulled out of that parking lot onto an 8 lane street(4 each direction). Nobody was behind me as they were stopped at the light I made the u-turn. Signaled and slowly made it to the inside lane, the was stopped at the next light. Cop pulls behind me and turns on his red light. I pull over. Cop says the same thing to me as the guy in this video. Said he pulled me over because I was swerving in traffic-(lie #1), and since there was a bar in the strip mall I was in, he thought I was drinking.(There was no bar-lie #2). What happened from that point on was very similar to the video(was a canine unit with a partner), except wifey was with me and I refused to allow any search of my vehicle. Told him I was putting up signs-no drink no drugs etc. Officer tried to threatened me numerous times, trying to intimadate me into allowing a search. Two more cop cars arrived on the scene. As they ordered me and wife out of the vehicle to search us, wife left her purse in the car and I locked the doors. Boy did that piss him off. I told him he would need a warrant to search my car. They went through everything I had in my pockets-and searched us for drugs-none found-Daaaaa. The thing that pissed me off was they made us sit outside our car for 40 minutes-while they did what? Nothing.....the group of cops were shooting the breeze(pun intended). Finally, the one cop came over and said if he see's me again in his city he will throw my ass in jail, an to get the f**k back in my car and get the hell out of his city.

So I know where the guy in the video is coming from. Only mistake he made was allowing the dog search. Never, ever allow a cop to search your vehicle or any of its contents unless the cop gets a warrant. Of course, if you have anything within plain sight(crack pipe, roach clip, wad of cash) that could give an officer probable cause to suspect criminal activity, you'll have no choice about the search.

I think this "officer" needs to be fired and then charged criminally with wanton destruction of public property...he is trashing the thousands of dollars invested in that K9's training...poor dog...hope he doesn't go home with this clown after his shift...

ok, you all rockheads. usually, when the fbi or dea are following some big drug dealers and want to intercept the small shipment, they send in a regular police guy in order to make the bust look real. real as if "shit just happened." this is done to ensure no one at the top of the gang suspects that they have been infiltrated and all their moves are known to feds.
