Amazing. It´s pretty obvious it will cause serious problems.

It's getting a bit of attention by the media lately here too, citizens in Thrace are pissed off too now that they know they want to turn the region in to a EU/muslim protectorate, the special economic zone is actually the first step for a future Kosovo scenario in Greek Thrace, coz these zones will be governed completely by the EU and not by the Greek state, and by bringing more Turks and muslims in there doesn't look too good for Greece and the Greeks living there. Just hope we get out of the EU soon tbh with you, we can dismember ourselves if we want to after the Grexit, but for sure we won't hand ourselves over to the Turks the easy way EU is selling us out now.

Btw, what happens in Greece very likely will happen everywhere else.

Do you see a concrete possibility that Greece could leave the EU altogether (not just the euro)? Who would lead Greece to that?

Everywhere else would be really frightening too, we're already starting to see secession movements in other parts of Europe too like Spain, Scotland, Belgium etc. It's like they decided that everything must be settled now for some reason.

Euro exit i think it's dead on, it will happen when they'll be ready to pull the economy plug, but EU exit altogether i don't know, it smells trouble and it won't be peaceful process for sure, Greece is not in the west Europe where past rivalries are forgotten by now, all of our neighbors would gladly have a piece of us, so EU exit would be a very big decision. It could happen in some years though if Greece moves more to the east than the west under Russian/Chinese side of influence for example. I don't see any politician who can lead Greece to something right now, all of them are puppets and serve the interests of their masters, other the German/EU ones and other the American ones. It would be great if someone stepped up and starting do things for the good of the Greek people, but no one is here for now.

Third memorandum would be comprised by 12 memorandums, Greece has to accept (or already accepted?) the term Macedonia-Skopje for FYROM too to get the tranche.

just heard the minister who talked to skai tv but didnt catch it from the start. He said that they have chartographed 30% of the area (i think the ship is at the Ionian sea now) and though he didnt want to talk about the first impressions he sounded possitive on what they found.
He said that the research will be over (studied and all) before the middle of 2013.
It seems that the biggest reserves lay south of Crete, but both Ionian and Agean sea have too.

I dont know but i still believe that all this we live now is because of these oil reserves.

check the list of the worlds gas reserves at the end of the article. if what they say about our reserves turns out to be true then we will be no 15 in this list.

Off course the reserves exist and off course this is the real reason of this crisis, it happens to all oil/gas rich countries, we just get it in the more civilized form of financial war than actual war the bankers are supporting elsewhere. I've been studying the reserves issue for some time now and they are probably more than the 3.5 that they speculate, but the rare earth minerals and gold are the real treasure in Greek lands. We'll need a good 8-10 years to fully exploit this gas reserves, Cyprus begun in 2004 to give you an example. Turkish casus belli is a 20 year big problem for exploiting these resources except if we give'em an equal share of the pie too, so i really dunno what will finally happen.
