Anonymous Coward User ID: 954113 Japan 05/26/2012 01:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Posted on May 26, 2012 Quoting: TXGal4Truth :Tvitaminob: Shepard Fairey, the street artist behind the iconic “Hope” poster of Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, has created a similarly-styled work in honor of Trayvon Martin. According to Fairey’s website, Ebony magazine commissioned the image several months ago, but the artist was not able to unveil it “until the issue hit newsstands this week.” The painting recreates the now-famous photo of Martin wearing a hoodie. The background features images from rallies demanding justice for the Florida teen’s death. PIC: [link to www.theblaze.com] Shepard Fairey = More so than any "racist" on this entire site. |

Trayvon's beautiful eyes seem to implore "why? why did I have to die?". At the hands of that evil thug vigilante white man. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16190746 Trayvon is at peace now, no longer having to live in fear of the likes of George Zimmerman and his ilk. Tray is safe in the arms of our loving God. The only thing that would make the poster better would be if there was a single tear on Tray's face, as he cried for the evil that men do and the wickedness that consumes this sick, sad world. In a perfect world... This And in this world, you are idiots who are not living amongst any facts at all. Good luck with that. |

Even in my nice car and suit I have had bad issues once inside gated communities, you don’t mess with people who have money & choose to live behind a wall. They live behind that wall for a reason, reasons you want nothing to do with. You also have to assume everyone is armed, or you get in trouble real quick. There is no way he was just cutting through that gated neighborhood just to risk a trespassing charge. I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw. We must all realize a sink a chair and a pillow are all luxuries of home and a soldiers helmet takes the place of all three. |

I hope that thug, Trayvon, is enjoying his dirt nap. The BROWN man, George Zimmerman made the world a better place. If only he could have killed your lying, race baiting ass, we really could rejoice. |

The subtle and not so subtle racism expressed here by certain posters is almost comical, because to any slightly intelligent person, they sound like they're celebrating their own ignorance and stupidity. They might as well just say "Hey look how stupid and racist I am! Look at these dumb things I say and actually believe!" I'm not really a fan of Fairey. I'm pretty indifferent towards him, but the intent behind his poster is pretty bulletproof, if any of you actually read his statements. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11145700 There's not a hell of a lot you can do with the color black. “One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief, that is a fate more terrible than dying.” |
