Would it be that inconceivable to imagine that YOU are the descendants of these once highly technologically adept god-like celestial visitors? Human beings who could perform the kind of miracles recorded in all our holy books and ancient records?

The place I moved to had a massive ship chain that had grown into the trunk and merged into the tree. Someone left it there when the tree was young and its trunk grew around it merged with the chain
