Obama to fake assassination attempt to avoid election: Rumour

Only our Canadian friends would be so under-informed to think that an assassination attempt of anybody would cancel a U.S. presidential election.

Every election for the last six or so some fringe group or another has claimed that the President would use his powers to stop the election, most often claiming they'd make themselves president for life.

It hasn't happened.

It probably won't, because the second it does, people will rise up. There are limits and things that everyone can see as a problem.
