Quoting: FubarMan People who under stand facts and science understand that Americans landed on the moon. In 1958 Skunk Works designed a plane that flew faster than a 30-06 bullet for extended periods. The engines were an odd hybrid of a turbo jet and pulse jet with a retracting nose cone to stifle the effects of shock-waves. A decade previous they were dropping nuclear weapons on cities. They had the technology and they went. LOL The funny thing is- and the most basic of all is that a spacesuit to withstand the heat, cold, and radiation has NOT even been developed yet... LOL Never happened. At least not the way they are telling us with the equipment they are telling us about,. duh 15 pounds per square inch, that isn't much pressure. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2257547 You are using a photo from the moon to prove that we have never been there? Priceless. Epic fail. Correction : Using a photo purported by NASA to be from the moon, to prove that they had never been there. Part of the deception is playing off of ego, going right back to Kennedy's speech, of planting the innocent lie, that we went to the moon, which I always found to be a disingenuous way of saying things which reeks of political indoctrination. This way you make the recipient of the deception responsible for the myth, and resistant to think of looking behind the curtain of what we have been served up to expect to believe. Tiny bits of tranquillityite (red mass, close-up at right), a rare mineral previously known only from moon rocks and lunar meteorites, have now been found in rocks from several sites in Western Australia and may be much more common than previously presumed. Credit: Adapted from B. Rasmussen et al., Geology (23 November 2011); © The Geological Society of America A mineral previously known only from moon rocks and lunar meteorites has now been found on Earth. Researchers discovered the substance—dubbed tranquillityite after the Sea of Tranquility, where Apollo 11 astronauts landed on the Moon in July 1969— at six sites in Western Australia. The mineral occurs only in minuscule amounts and has no economic value, but scientists say it could be used for age-dating the rocks in which it occurs. [link to news.sciencemag.org] |

You mean that the same bureaucracy that gave us the "moon landings" before is now giving us that same story again. Let's review our Science 101, History 101, and Law 101: Scientists require independent reproducibility. Historians require independent corroboration. Courts require sworn testimony under cross-examination. NASA has provided us with none of these. Ok here is a quick reputable experiment that is replicated. Universities all over the world use the mirrors left behind to measure the average movement of the moon away from the earth each year. Read the web site. No mirrors are needed. Think about it like this. How could you possibly even hit a target so small 200,000 miles away? No way. Face the facts... [link to space.about.com] [link to en.wikipedia.org] |

[link to www.youtube.com] You can see the lunar buggy motoring around on the moon. It hard leaves tracks because it is throwing the powdery mix right back in the groove causing it to fill it's tracks. When you watch the video you can barely see the previous tracks. The foot print does not cover its on track with fine dust. You can see the buggy's tracks from the hubble telescope. In this video, when the rover is passing by the tracks it just made at 0:56. From where the pictures were taken these tracks would have clearly shown up. And how is all of that dust on the moon? Why do the American astroNOTS glide weightless yet the dust falls back to the surface? |

+9 User ID: 21360789 United States 08/12/2012 12:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | People who are 40 years and under just don't believe that humans have been on the moon. It has never happened in their lifetime. Something that awesome should have happened again (and again) in 40 years. If the US can spend 1.2 Trillion dollars on Defense each year, then the US could have easily afforded to build a lunar base by now. Apollo made it look like it was easy to accomplish sans Apollo 13. But instead they built shuttles and a space station, when a badass satellite is right there and easily accessible (according to 1970 technology). |
