there is a meteor shower right now... but they look to be immobile almost. My daughter saw one last night here in Oregon... it had a tail though. idk... hope you get some answers.

we here in florida have a funny name for those, we call them "airplanes".if they are flying directly at you, or away from you their nav lights do appear very atationary if you watch the bottom of the frame, to your right of the lights in a row, around 1:18 you see the strobing approach lights of the local airport
