I personally am so sick of your boomer asses .... suck it:s226: If you think Obama won this debate, your IQ is 100 points below my 138, not the 50 I might have imagined, had I met you while you were attempting again and again to tie your shoes. Funny thing...I still get to vote. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22247563 it sure would have been nice to see Ron Paul up there. Why?...not only did Ron Paul LOSE every state primary...he would have been outclassed like Fluffy the bunny vs King Kong by even stammering Obama tonight...you really think that Ron could have held his own in the debate we saw tonight?....not even in the same universe...and all you Paulies would have been whining your asses off about Grampy got treated unfairly blah blah blah, whimper whine whine...as usual... nobody gives a shit about what you think! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 22247563 United States 10/04/2012 12:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I watched the expanded version of the debate on DemocracyNow. What a refreshing difference. Both Obama & Romney talked a bunch of doublespeak, going round in circles and didn't say a damn thing worth listening too. Lehrer was a real pushover as a moderator too. What a wus. Quoting: cartographica On the other hand, Stein and Anderson (regardless of whether you agree with them) gave clear, concise, informed and thoughtful answers. They also covered topics that the other two clowns were too scared to go near: drones, kill lists, Patriot Act, SOPA, NDAA, single payer health care, obscene military industrial complex spending, the insurance industry racket, immigration, human rights, healthy food, etc. If I had to choose, I think Stein was just slightly better than Anderson. Damn shame most of the country didn't get to hear their side of the story. Needless to say, I don't think either Obama or Romney won any points. A big negative turn-off from both of them. So what planet did you say you were from? Lorien maybe cartographica dosen't enjoy having smoke blown up his ass. The problem in this country is there are too many people who do.Bend over 3 more debates I think. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 3978737 United States 10/04/2012 12:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Jimmy Carter, hands down, was the clear winner in tonights debate. No longer will he be looked upon as the most inept president of the united states. Praise be obama. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1030094 Do you think any of these puppets give a shit if they look inept? They get paid off like high priced whores, live in comfort and luxury, and go about their business being protected day and night. The only presidents who cared about this country and their job are the ones that got assassinated. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19011623 I've only been of voting age for 16 years, but I don't think I've seen any candidate in a debate appear as confident and experienced as Romney did. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19011623 I'm a bit older than you, and back in 1980 when I was a young, naive and delusional, I worked on the Jimmy Carter campaign (yes yes I know) I wanted to be a reporter back then and I was already active in politics, so I was glued to the debates between Carter and Reagan I remember my young idealistic heart feeling crushed as I watched Ronald Reagan swagger into the debates and demolish Carter Every "there you go again" and other confident put down was something I couldn't comprehend at the time. I argued against it, I called Reagan aggressive and domineering....but I did know it meant my guy was on the ropes and going down hard and he did Now, in hindsight as an adult, a born again ornery indpendent with a powerful dislike of both parties, I respect Reagan's self confidence, and I know that is what a country going through difficulties wants and needs I encourage you, if you get a chance, to watch some online clips of those Reagan vs Carter debates so you can say "and that sir, is how it's done..." An old man, once called a hack, who found his fire and slid into the presidency on a landslide I am in no way defending Reagan's presidency, the fact he was a paid representative for GE and the defense industry etc etc. I don't think any president is anything other than a mouthpiece chosen by the PTB However, that said, he was great at those debates and he demolished poor Carter ..who was not a bad man, but was a bad wizard.... Quoting: BRIEF Obama voted four times to allow aborted babies who survived the abortion to be allowed to die. He was the only person to vote for it. Romney has changed from being prochoice to prolife. Obama appointed Kagen and and Sotomayor to the Supreme Court - imagine his appointing two or three more like that. |
