Who do you believe won tonight's debate? | |

He never defended it either, how could he. Quoting: Desert Fox I thought that looked bad on Romney. Everyone needs to get off oil, putting that much support behind alternative energy should be applauded not scorned. As strong as Romney looked that was a huge, huge point for me. Laughed, what a dumb Canuck. |

It's not a real debate. i guess i dont understand what you mean. are you saying that its disrespectful to have a process/structure for a debate in general? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 902014 In my opinion, Obama was holding back. Holding back? lololol He was lost! Always has been. This guy is NOT a leader. This guy cannot speak or think without a teleprompter! Even with the prompter he still has no grasp of the gravity of any given situation. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” |

s. d. butler User ID: 974819 United States 10/03/2012 10:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy. - Carrol Quigley, Tragedy and Hope The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum - even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there's free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate. --NOAM CHOMSKY That is exactly what we are seeing all right. The status quo having destroyed Ron Paul and not allowing Johnson in the debates has won again. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 902014 In my opinion, Obama was holding back. Holding back? lololol He was lost! Always has been. This guy is NOT a leader. This guy cannot speak or think without a teleprompter! To be fair to Obama, who can get America out of this mess? It doesn't matter who you put in the Oval Office, the debt is always going to go up. What's the saying? You have to spend to make money. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 14010048 United States 10/03/2012 10:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Obama is a narcissist. Once he realized he was not being adored, he suffered a meltdown. Above all, he MUST be adored. The truth is that Obama's fascade of lies is faltering. Romney was well informed & showed lots of common sense. So, Romney won this debate. |
Anonymous Coward 10/03/2012 10:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree. I was actually shocked in the beginning of debate when Romney went full steam ahead; Obama was starting to look nervous. and he never backed off...sheesh Obama got ROLLED over... Ok so we all know I do not like Obama, but this was just one of the worst debate performances I have ever witnessed by a sitting president...and especially by one who is supposed to be a good speaker... Romney just dominated Obama in this debate...and I believe the media will be FORCED to chalk this up as big Obama loss.. This will affect the campaign... Romney had an impressive performance this evening. I was expecting Obama to crush Romney, but Obama definitely dropped the ball this evening. If Romney keeps this up, then the election should be a shoe-in for him. We should have a pretty good idea of any changes in Romney's support level in a couple of days---when post debate poll results get reported. As for the media coverage, MSNBC is having a hard time giving credit where credit is due: Mitt Romney had an outstanding performance this evening. |

IN the first round, the moderator was not going to let Romney defend himself with Obama's remarks even though it was Romney's turn to talk.....Romney HAD to step up to the plate and demand fairness. Romney was respectful and he was able to jab and stab with a smile on his face. BRILLIANT |
