"Amanita caesarea, commonly known in English as Caesar's Mushroom, is a highly regarded edible mushroom in the genus Amanita, native to southern Europe and North Africa." I don't plan on eating it. This mushrooms usually grow in areas with pine. Quoting: sssss This is a deadly mushroom, don't try to get high :) I noticed that one you mentioned along with the others mentioned in the Wiki link. They all have orange color but slight differences. I don't plan on eating it, although if it is Amanita Caesarea then it is edible. This is not the only foreign looking mushroom I have found this year. I also found some big brown muffin looking mushrooms. I try to pay attention to the types of flora and noticed these were new too me. Peace Last Edited by Amy_A on 10/03/2012 11:56 PM Amy |

If it's ceasarea you'll be fine, if it's muscaria a little won't be fatal, but will make itself known. Get someone to video you after you eat it, might be fun! |
