All the clapping the cheering the flag waving the banners, when i was a kid i thought everyone got paid for this, not kidding, i still dont get it

I mean, please enlighten me, but whats in it for you and me? You know the average joe and jane?
I understand the joy and euphoria of those that get voted into a good paying job but the ones doing the cheering etc..?whats in it for them? Does their life improve in any way?
Please do enlighten me because i just dont get it.

And when they get voted in by the average joe and jane do they consult them as to know how they want them to act and represent them?

For four years is the average joe and jane asked at any time if all is cool? Or how tbe elected person should act or behave according to them in certain situations that will affect joe and jane?

No one votes them in....money and power vote them in. The debates are just theatrics to make people think they make a difference..kinda like a little kid who thinks he's driving the car on a track...but it just goes round and round in the same circles.

In 2001 I was listening to Rush Limbough. I was analyzing what he was saying one day and reflected on how conservatives were actually voting on issues (economy, war, constitution) and realized they didn't match. It was then I realized it is a bunch of bullshit. Hardly anyone stands for what is actually right in politics. They only do what they have to do to stay in power. It was then I stopped identifying myself as a 'republican' 'conservative'. Its all a loaded term that is meaningless.

My grandfather was very cynical, when they aired political rallies on TV and showed the crowd cheering and waving banners etc..he used to day..look at those stupid b..........., there is nothing in it for them, nothing in their pockets, their life will just be the same as it was before..

You would think that by this stage in the game, people would understand it is rigged, corrupt and nothing but lies, pomp & worthless dogmatic garbage.

In my eyes, America is done. Is was finished prior to Mr. O...but now we are going under. We have no clue how to run a ship of this magnitude and our once high position will be stripped from us like the last scrap of cloth of a painted french whore.
