Why are they naming this man?

Do they have anything more substantial than a dodgy character?

I like how they suggest his "in and out" of relationships, and months long bouts with being unemployed suggest he's a very sordid character.

Hell, I know probably 20 people who fit the same bill.

I thought the press would have learned from the Bristol case. By all means, if the man is guilty, splash him all over the papers but for god's sake, not at this stage.

Very very wrong.

I agree. It reminds me of those 3 men in America that were recently released. Were they the Kentucky 3?

I understand the need for haste, but I worry they have the wrong man based on stupid assumptions.

Exactly - it happens too often and there's no going back for the person involved - look at the Bristol landlord, life changed forever.

Re: Is this the man who snatched little April?
Whether or not he's guilty, the police had this man in the frame right from the off. The kids described April getting int a "light coloured van which was small at the front and big at the back". When the police spoke they said it could have been a Ford Combi or a Landrover Discovery.

Well, a Landrover Discovery looks nothing like the van the kids described - then hey presto they find this man's Landrover Discovery, which has four windows not two so doesn't look like a van, it's dark metallic blue with a big white arrow stripe down the side. Not only that, but the local kids knew this man and his car because April played with his kids who lived in the same area, and they'd all been playing around in his car before. So they knew the man and the car; wouldn't they have just said "April got into Mark's car"?

I don't understand how a white/grey van looks like a blue landrover.

the 2 main stories that have dominated the mainstream British news over the last week, are about allegations from the victims of a dead pedophile (Jimmie saville) and an abducted case which occurred in wales.
oh and they are still spinning out the fucking Olympic games

i don't mean to be an ass, but i wouldn't be surprised if many of these child abduction cases are engineered psyops, to give tptb a reason to install cctv on every street corner, so they can monitor everyone's activities.

on one level, this would be good in reducing crime, but it sounds to me as though they are really modern day nazi watch towers being put in place because the soon-to-be communist fascist government wants to turn cities into gulag run slave labour camps.

Aprils friend, must have recognised him and named him to police. He might have offered the girls a lift home.

He did not do it.
Makes you wonder why they are so quick to name a suspect.
I also wonder what bad news story they are trying to cover up.
