| Anonymous Coward User ID: 20610884  Canada10/04/2012 01:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to english.kyodonews.jp] 7 Chinese warships sail off Okinawa Pref. island amid Senkaku spat Seven Chinese navy warships sailed through waters between Okinawa Island and Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture on Thursday in the first passage of Chinese warships in the waters since Japan nationalized the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea last month, the Defense Ministry said. The seven moved from the East China Sea into the Pacific between around 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., the ministry said, adding that there was no problem in terms of international legality as they sailed on high seas.  |
