Why anyone voted for this ass clown is beyond me. I'm guessing that not many people knew about it. I'm amazed at how badly both McCain and now Romney ignored that statement from Obama. I'd be running an ad in every state, contrasting Obama in his own words admitting how his plan would cause energy rates to skyrocket against today's gas prices. Then again, maybe people in California like $5/gallon gas, because they're basically going to vote for it next month, just like they always do. |

The only three explanations would be - a major drop in the refining capacity around the globe or - a well organised scam. - some new tax you are not aware of? Gas prices had dropped to around $2/gallon when Obama took office in January 2009. However, they had also been around $4/gallon for much of 2008. The reason for the drop was due to the demand destruction in the wake of the financial crisis late in 2008. |
