the part i REALLY love is where they found out that govt added 67,000 new jobs when it had been thought there were losses..I mean really they are not even trying to cover the lies, its almost like they sit around thinking " hey, how fucked up can we make these numbers and our base still buys it! " I mean lets think, after the debate there were about 25% on average in polls who thought Obama actually won...so Im guessing they could have said the unemployment rate dropped to 5% and those same people would say HELL YEA GO OBAMA!....all that matters now is what the last 5-10% of independents and undecided think, just PRAY they dont buy numbers like this or we r screwed!

The numbers they use = U3 is a crock of poop 7.8 doesn't really tell it like it is.

Even the REAL numbers in the U6 don't work either they don't keep track of people who stop looking for work, who are either disabled, living on foodstamps and other entitlements.

The real indicator is the labor participation rate which has been dropping steadily since 2008 from highs of 67% now down to 63%.

Although this number really isn't the lowest its been, which was around 58% from 1948-1966 then it started to move up until it plateaued in 1990.

For one thing, the Bureau of Labor Statistics isn’t currently run by a political appointee. For most of Obama’s term, the commissioner was a Bush holdover. The current acting commissioner John Gavin is a career BLS economist, not an Obama appointee.

The underlying data behind the BLS reports is also publicly released and used by analysts across the private sector and academia, meaning a conspiracy would have to survive scrutiny from trained economists of all political stripes.

Is anybody taking into account the fact that Obama has been phazing out extended benefits just before the election?
That is a BIG reason why there are fewer filers now.

1) Corporations hold off on expansions within the United States until 1st Quarter 2013
2) Republicans blockade all jobs bills to prevent any jobs act
