Mysterious Algorithm Was 4% of Trading Activity Last Week
.
... am not in the stock market BUT this doesn't sound good ...
.
... "testing" for a BIGGER event? ...
.

The program placed orders in 25-millisecond bursts involving about 500 stocks, according to Nanex, a market data firm. The algorithm never executed a single trade, and it abruptly ended at about 10:30 a.m. Friday.

The scariest part of this single program was that its millions of quotes accounted for 10 percent of the bandwidth that is allowed for trading on any given day, according to Nanex. (The size of the bandwidth pipe is determined by a group made up of the exchanges called the Consolidated Quote System.)

Like the shorts on the airline stocks before 9-11, these greedy bastards just can't stand to let an opportunity go by that they can make money on.

Keep an eye open for more of this, it is a sure sign.

I can't believe they would. By the way, where were the servers and files containing all of the bankster fraud cases located on 9/11?

I almost want to say Building 7 but that would be preposterous.

Thats a definite practice run, crazy days ahead!
“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan

thats why the trading market needs regulation, or it just needs to go tits up and crash to be replaced with the next things. its a systematic devaluing of systems, to erode public trust so it can be replaced.

..& no body remembers the 'missing' software from Lehman Brother's fire-sale in 2008, 16 trillion dollars is 'missing' from the fed's ledgers.. now there's a 'Mysterious' algorithm. my ass.!

They know exactly what's propping everything up, the entire cluster-fuck is on auto-pilot.. didn't Iran take a 40% currency clip last week, do you really think humans can eat paper that fast.

There's no 'Mystery' here people.. they know exactly what's happening & they don't even care any more if we're watching.

It's not a practice run, it's called QUOTE STUFFING and it's a strategy used by High Frequency Traders to confuse the opposition into having to deal with 1000's of quote requests whilst YOU get on with executing arbitrage trades.
