The only thing that creates an increased standard of living is giving someone a job, the demand for their labor, whether it’s you and I, Chris, or anybody else. The people that are paying the price for this juggernaut of federal spending are the middle class and the working class of America. And soaring rhetoric and great speeches, with or without a Teleprompter, aren’t going to change the truth. And the truth is the biggest enemy, the biggest obstacle, that working middle class America has is government spending. |

The class warfare is obnoxious. There have always been rich people and poor people in all societies. Even when the Soviet Union was at its height as a Communist country, the party leaders had access to all sorts of things that the commoner could not get. Same is true in China today where there is a huge and growing wealthy class amongst the dirt poor who work for what amounts to about a dollar an hour. However, the very wealthy do create jobs even if all they do is spend their money which creates jobs for the people they buy from and all those who provide services to them. Others, like Wynn, create jobs by starting businesses which grow and hire more and more people. |
