Dune film illuminati
Dune was a film in the 80s directed by David Lynch that had many symbolisms to it. The writer who wrote the book Franke Herbert was a 33 degree mason and put the elites plans in his books by predicted the iraq invasion.

Here are a few simmilarties between the story and real life:

Arrakis- Iraq

Spice- Oil

Shaddam IV- Saddam Hussein

Here is a parody of the film:

You can watch the full film here if you havent watched:

Re: Dune film illuminati
The director from Chile (Jodorowsky) was gonna shoot his version of the film with Surrealist artist Salvador Dali. The machine with a fat man likeness and arms would spread SHIT and fumes, etc. Pink Floyd would've provided the music rather than Toto. This director was gonna turn the film into something even more bizarre. Besides TOPO he did this other film Holy Mountain:

Lynch's Dune was a scif-fi masterpiece.

But alas goes over the heads of mainstream audiences that prefer amusement spelled out for them.

A convergence of great talent:

Novelist Frank Herbert

and flimakers: David Lynch

& Dino De Laurentiis

In his life Dino produced scores of epic scif-fi & fantasy film.

"Dino" films are among some of my all time favorites.

comb the list of his work. You'll be enthralled!

Surprisingly, many people critized Lynch's DUNE but it was far better than the tv extended version others did later on, in spite of more modern special FXs.
I would've erased too much whispering from the original and that's about it.

Dino produced FLASH GORDON and the outfits were awesome. As a matter of fact Emperor Ming's daughter costume was the inspiration for princess Amidal's dress in Star Wars.

I know! The whispering!

It was a bit.. melodramatic, but it was Lynch's solution to a chief component to the books it was based on.

Dialogue in the books were intertwined with thoughts. You were told what the characters were thinking and some of the main characters communicated telepathically.

In hind-sight, I can't think of any workable alternative to the whispering outside of drastic rewriting.

I think the bigger problem was the action. The sets, costumes, and music were all bigger than the action. If the warriors & weapons only fought as great as they looked, the movie would have gone down in top sci-fi of all time. The lasers looked and sounded bad, bad, bad.

Can you imagine how Riddley Scott would've directed the film? It's beyond my comprehension but obviously he used GIGER's art to do his ALIEN and PROMETHEUS. Check this interview:

Giraud ended up doing the art for 5th Element and a script writer wrote for ALIEN with Giger's art:

Now, in my mind's eye the dwellers of the desert planet have to wear proper clothing and I guess the dudes wearing black tight uniforms in Mexican desert must've bear unnamable torture filming original Dune. But it looked better than the later version! I guess the colors of such uniforms could mimic the desert. I would kept the soldiers uniforms reminiscing of Mussolini's black shirt fascist group.

I always confuse the participle of bear with the one of "born".. borne? "Must've borne"?

If animation I'd like the old-fashioned style as in Hercules and Lion King but not as in Rio or Ice Age with CGI virtual images. Eye detects the molecular difference because of the celluloid.

It's true. Even Lion King and the others I enjoy are enhanced with computer animation in battle scenes, etc.

Now, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MIX "RETURN OF THE JEDI" WITH DUNE (and I guess George Lucas stole from Dune books in the same way he borrowed from Flash Gordon and Ming's deadly rays from planet Mongo in order to do his own emperor and empire):

Considering the very nature of this film is related with MUSLIM culture, hence the JIHAD or HOLY WAR reference, the only animated movie which I can think about as inspiration would be this:
