My understanding is the son knows who his father is and hates him for abandoning him.

The son inherited a lot of money, not from his father but his maternal grandparents, and I understand he didn't spend it very wisely. I haven't seen him for a few years.

Its odd, but TPTB somehow think we Templars have some powers or maybe its just that we were in local politics. But they were really after us there for a while when one of their boys lost a local election. So the idea we are part of the Illuminati or whatever is pure bunk. I've personally even been called by them and threatened with death or worse just for posting stuff on websites. Don't ask me because I'm not saying anything more about it.

I can understand the sons reaction to some extent. Sounds like he messed up his life, after being handed money that could have helped him. Sad.
Maybe the TPTB are afraid that if in politics, even if only local. That you can for some reason make some huge difference that might in the long run affect them. Who knows. As for the death threats. Pfft. Must be doing something to scare them.
