James Holmes, Aurora Shooting July 2012

To all interested in the case of James Holmes vs. The State of Colorado (12CR1522), including and All Who Are Concerned for the Equal Treatment of ALL Citizens:

The movie theater shooting that occurred on July 20th, 2012 in Aurora, Colorado a horrific event, and you are urged to request and support further investigation of this matter. It is important to probe the possibility that there was more than one suspect involved in this horrendous act. There is no concrete physical evidence that James Holmes was even involved in the crime. It is also the right of the victims, victims’ families, and whoever else affected by this tragedy to be informed on all details involved in this incident. All parties that may have contributed to this event should be investigated and penalized if need be. The sole accused gunman, Mr. Holmes, should be receiving adequate humane treatment while incarcerated in the Arapahoe County jail, including the ability to hire his chosen counsel. He is innocent until proven guilty.

Here is some evidence to be considered, including police radio transmissions and interviews with witnesses:

-Witness accounts describe a man with a goatee (not matching James Holmes description) taking a phone call by emergency exit door, he propped door open while signaling for “someone” to come.

-There is NO witness testimony’s of a man matching James Holmes description (Orange Hair) buying a ticket or being at the theater.

-Multiple witness accounts stating there was more than 1 shooter in theater 9.

- A second gas canister came from the back left corner of theater, which fell to the lower level of audience.

- (at 6:15) Police radio transmission indicated suspect was found INSIDE his car.

- 3 minutes after James Holmes was detained an officer over Police Radio states “One of the shooters may be wearing a white and blue plaid shirt”

-(at 24:42) into police radio transmission “Copy all units, male with a red backpack and another one possibly in black clothing headed toward Alameda” Avenue
(Construction workers on the job that night also witness at least one male with a backpack running toward Alameda Avenue)

-(at 25:00) “Suspect is going to be male, unknown race, black camo outfit, believed to be wearing a vest, gas mask and multiple long guns”

- (at 1:16:16) Office says “Talking to people making statements, sounds like we have possibly 2 shooters”

Tactical gear was abandoned on the ground outside theater exit.
A 2nd gas mask was found at the opposite end of parking lot from James Holmes car, toward Alameda Avenue.
Police received a phone call hours after James Holmes was taken into custody demanding he be released or something worse was going to happen. How did anyone know he was there? His name was not even released to the media yet.

-It was never stated whether any gun residue from the weapons used in this crime was found on Mr. Holmes’ hands, or whether his fingerprints were found on any weapons of the riot gear he allegedly wore during the event.

-The sources from which Mr. Holmes allegedly purchased the assault weapons, explosives, and riot gear were never tracked. However, if these sources were identified, then they should be penalized to the fullest extent of the law to ensure the protection of innocent citizens. There should be a record available of the shotgun purchased at the ProBass store.

-Where is the family of Mr. Holmes? We only received one statement from them, and through their lawyer. Also, why is the public defender representing Mr. Holmes, and why not a private attorney hired by the family? The family clearly hired a lawyer to represent their own interests.

-Why was there no footage recorded by the security cameras at the theater? If the cameras were not functioning, would that be a breech in security and be grounds for penalty? Why would the security cameras happen to not be working at this time? Is there a request submitted to repair the security camera system if it was not functioning, and if so, is there a copy of this request?

-If Dr. Lynn Fenton, who was apparently treating Mr. Holmes, was so concerned with the possibility of him being a threat to campus safety, then why were the campus police only notified once and the local police not notified at all?

-Why does Mr. Holmes appear “drugged” and “dazed” in court? Why do his eyes appear glassy and protruding? Why did he complain of stomach pain while in jail? Is he being treated by a physician while he is incarcerated? Also, if he is suspected to be “mentally ill,” then is he under the care of a psychiatrist? Why does he appear unshaven and disheveled during his first court appearance?

-Why is the information involving this entire case made so private when the shooting was made so public? Why were there two gag orders carried out; the first one submitted right after the incident occurred, and the second one submitted after the authorities were notified that the University of Colorado received a package from Mr. Holmes.

Thank you for your time. Please consider all angles of this case before formulating any opinions. This will prevent innocent people from being harmed, murdered, or wrongly convicted. It will help justice to be served, and the real criminals to be punished.
