I would say it is somewhat co-incidental, the mayans used a base 20 number system, not a 10 base system like we do. [link to en.wikipedia.org]

My take on it is this...

You are right, however, which ever number system you use, a repeating pattern is still a repeating pattern. Its just like everything in the universe.... numbers and mathmatic properties are the basis for everything. So no matter what... there is something significant about his find. I have no idea what... because even our own calander has repetitive properties... but we were too stupid/lazy to keep from having to have a leap year. It won't be long before we find out though...

of course numbers repeat when you arbitrarily pluck out intervals of a thousand. check this out:

2 + 2 = 4

2(1000) + 2(1000) = 4000

it's like there's some kind of PATTERN involved in the concept of a NUMERICAL SYSTEM. What a find!

His heritage is authentic. Check out his website for lots more information and to see the work Ac Tah and a lot of other dedicated people are doing.... www.actah2012.com

1/3/69 is my date of birth. Always thought these numbers had some special meaning.

The centre of the stone actually represents Tlaltecuhtli, the Mexica sea or earth monster who features in Mexica creation myths.

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread yesterday about the face on the Mexican sea floor. Anyone else think these two look similar?
