Would a Human Soul become trapped if that person died in space or on another planet? Where would it go?

Why? So If an astronaut is outside the space station & has a heart attack,where does the soul go from there?

No one survives outside the Van Allen belt, no one goes/went to the moon or mars, period.
The Van Allen belt is the earths magnetic shield that blocks most of the stellar radiation from hitting the earth.
If you were to leave earths orbit, you would need 3-foot thick lead walls to block most of the radiation, but that still wouldn't stop the higher energy particles, you would still die anyway.

Thanks. I hesitated in the past to ask this question because I wasn't sure of the best way to ask. But as we get more into space & out there even on other planets,this question becomes more relevant.

Thanks for your response. I thought this too but I'm also trying to wrap my head around space death or foreign plantet death versus earth death. Most of us have our opinions on where the soul goes after death here on earth.

I think it's an amazing subject to talk about without getting into any main religion to talk about.

The soul is part of the initial spark of life from our creator. Just as the creator is in all places all the time, our soul has the capacity to be where it chooses.

The soul is never stuck anywhere, it is free yet a full part of the all, the I Am.

Ok for instance,when paranormal investigators capture evidence at a particular place, the spirit is stuck there & they try to help that spirit move on,in some cases,at least in realm they are in at the location the spirit or spirits are at.

So you think they choose to be where they are until judgement & if a soul was outside this earth they could be back at their home in a flash coming though an EVP,electronic voice phenomenon?

The space station is inside the belt, the belt is several hundred miles outside our atmosphere.

I'm basically asking where does it go,or does it become trapped? I don't think anyone alive knows for sure but getting peoples theories & opinions on it.

I read a book written by a medium who speaks to "dead people". She said that once a person dies, their soul departs from their body and a "white light" appears (like a vortex portal)

They have the choice of either going into it, or staying in their current location. The portal closes after some time and if the soul doesn't pass through, they are trapped on earth.

Most spirits will return to their last known home or the place where they died. I think if an astronaut died in space, his/her soul would return home on earth because spirits just have to think about where they want to go and they are there instantly.

I don't think a soul far from home (earth) would be trapped, because it's only "far away" to our bodies, but our souls are spirit, energy, and limitless. I think we would know where to go and where we wanted to be. Spirits who are trapped here usually have had some trauma, and they're mixed up. Remember, time is different for them.
I don't know if I'm right about any of this, just my opinion. btw, good thread!

I saw it on the bottom of this page after I posted but haven't read much of it yet. I didn't know for sure if it was based entirely on my question.
