I generally agree with you...but, I put a link in a post above to a GLP thread. The thread has links to external sources. The Petraeous thing is a decoy...the old "follow the money" line still works...Benghazi was about oil money. Let the O administration answer a few simple questions: Were there copies of those missing oil contracts? Can we see the copies of the missing oil contracts, if they exist? If the contracts are gone forever...what can be told about the oil contracts - who were the parties involved - what prices for the oil was in the contracts - where was the oil to end up (on American shores?)

Over the last year, there have been multiple attacks on foreign gov't targets (E.g shots fired at UK ambassador's car, gelatina bomb thrown at US consulate in Benghazi, bomb under Egyptian embassy worker's car, attacks on ICRC facilities)...These attacks have been considered minor...Libyan say they use gelatina (some kind of explosive) for fishing...

There have been serious attacks on Libyan prisons (or detention facilities) especially detention facilities holding Islamist prisoners. As in walls blown out, 50+ prisoners escaping, multiple guards killed.

If the CIA was operating a secret prison... That would change everything....

The Libyan would hear about an attack on a consulate and YAWN (happens all the time meant to WARN Westerners to stay out of Libyan affairs/why get out of bed)

Personally I think the Libyans held at the CIA annex had just been captured during the attack. I do not think there was a prison. The initial attack on the Benghazi mission had nothing to do with freeing prisoners, because there were no prisoners at that point.
