Just seems weird to me that they are saying anything if they can't even use the toilet without permission. Be prepared to get out of Dodge ASAP if the SHTF in your area. Do not stay and wait for assistance. The longer you wait, the worse it will get for you. Leave all your shit behind, except for that box of irreplaceable family photos and videos, and of course all your important documents, essential clothing, and survival gear. Make sure everything you need to take (not want to take)would fit in the trunk of your car. And have a plan already in place as to where you would go - relatives or friends out of your area, or even out of your state, and even some campgrounds along the way. The thing is, waiting like a baby bird in your messed up nest for mama bird (government) to come take care of you is asking for trouble. If they work and no relatives are close..their work should set up a place for them to stay and be able to go back and forth to work. Do they not have friends at work either? Only as a last resort to stay in some tent camp etc. If they don't work there is no reason they cant be put up in a hotel..even if that hotel/motel rental house etc is out of state. |

Boardgames? Did these people think they were going to the Hilton. Shouldn't THEY have brought their own in their BOB's or something? It's obvious that so many people never had to make do just to survive which is a good thing, they should be thankful for the life they normally get to lead instead of whining about this temporary situation that provides food and shelter for them. They can leave if they are not happy. This is ridiculous. |
