As someone who used to love meat and dairy products, I can understand where your coming from, however as someone who has educated himself on the affects of these industries on personal health and the environment and the amount of cruelty and suffering to animals, I no longer view meat or dairy in the same way. We need whole fats, that include lard, butter, and coconut oil. We need bone marrow, and the fatty vitamins in organic eggs, raw milk and liver and red meat. We need it for our teeth, bones and brain an the Leaders are massively lying to people. The old fashioned diet of our grandparents is the right one. So like the natives did, look after your health, and give thanks for what you need to take. But they are lying. Only some people can be healthy on a vegan diet. Others put their entire life in jeopardy. Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto immune and your immune system attacks your joints, and heart and organs. Should read more than the first sentence, I know what you mean, I am a libertarian, at the same time someone that has experienced both spectrums of eating, I ate my way to 400lbs with the atkins diet of meat and cheese, and ate my way back down with biologically and nutritionally appropriate foods. I understand both sides as well as the importance of individual freedoms/choices, that does not however mean I will not help raise awareness where possible. |

Never been close to 225lbs let alone lost that much. Glad you got yourself in better shape but portion control and daily exercise can have the same if not better results. Personally I don't believe a vegan diet is healthy for various reasons and I have been into fitness my whole life. |

It is very widespread esp in Canada. [link to blog.vitamindcouncil.org] Taking vitamin D supplement at the right dosage should provide huge relief to your rheumatoid arthritis. |
