OMD's Earthquake thread.

I dreamed last night of a 9.0 earthquake occurring in Peru (no depth). Recently I also dreamt of a 8.3 in Bolivia (being very deep around 200 kilometres or miles). Peru is joined to Bolivia so this area is clearly the reference point in my dream.

(A 200+km deep quake in Peru/Bolivia would not be uncommon, but being 8.3 would make it a record at those kind of depths.)

So I Would say I dreamt of around mag. 8-9 in or around the Peru-Bolivia region. Possibly unusually deep.

Can we post our dreams too? LOL

Very strange.... about a week ago I woke three times during
the night and all three times waking to the thought:

"8.3 in southern California"

Peru is very dangerous area for next "big one", also Chile ..

Two days ago before I slept I tried to imagine where a quake may strike soon. I saw what looked like New Zealand, and a large earthquake, 6.7. This magnitude could vary, or could just be the representation of a large quake, not an actual value.

I dreamed yesterday that a place I was in had received heavy rain for one day followed by (unexpected?) sunny weather the next. I was saying that this would induce a large earthquake tomorrow.

I don't know if it was a direct reference to today (30/11/12). I also do not know the location.

I am not sure if there is substantial evidence that the weather can cause quakes or not, but it seems a logical factor. I just thought i'd share this as it caught my attention.
