well, let me first exclude the things that they didn't create us for. first, they didn't create us to dig gold for them - they could have robots that would be better at that. or, to produce food or machines - again, they could have machines of their own that would be better. so, they produced us for a vacation. they somehow can access our minds and get to see and experience all the wickedly weird shit we do to each other - and in the process, they don't have to do that shit to their own kind.
