Anonymous Coward User ID: 7702124 United States 11/16/2012 05:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I eat this almost everyday and I can't get enough of it. Only thing I do is add a little shredded cheddar to my broccoli. I drink water only and I take vitamin C supplements. If this diet is sufficient enough, what's the least things I can add to it to make it more complete? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27850102 Thanks. Depends on what beans. Certain beans only have one type of simple protein chain....and humans need much more for long term health. Certain beans are much better than others. |

It's weird and I'm thankful at the same time. What do you guys eat everyday to stay healthy? I just hate cooking long meals every single day because I'm always on the go. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1408355 A doctor told people years ago when times were bad, if they were short of money, to eat rice and peanuts. He said it included every vitamin and mineral needed to be healthy for quite some time. Oh cool! Thanks. I have a bag of almonds, are those good enough? |

The native americans ate what has been called the trinity. Corn, beans, and squash. Throw in a few squirrels and whatever else comes to hand, you have a balanced diet. :) |

A little bit is okay, but the average meat intake of an American makes me feel bad. |

Beans = protein Rice = carbs Broccoli = trace minerals Cheese = protein Seems fine to me. Along with your supplement of "C" and drinking plenty of water (8 glasses a day) you are good to go. You should be able to live more-or-less indefinitely on this diet and be well, happy, healthy. |

I wish there was a simpler solution. I would be willing to eat the same thing every day if it were nutritionally sufficient. Quoting: ANHEDONIC EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS! It's so tiresome. If I knew I could eat beans, rice, and broccoli everyday and it be nutritionally sufficient it would make life so much easier. Ha |

Cous Cous helps, maybe an apple or pear in there too, I eat very similarly to you. No processed, no bread, no pasta (maybe once a month or so, but whole grain). Absolutely no sugar. |
