From what I learned in World History in HS, there was never a Palestine. I studied about the Philistines, but never Palestinians. Jordanians, Yemenite, Lebanese, but never Palestinians. Why is that?

Seriously, you don't "root" for people in a war. As an American, I feel ashamed that so many in my country think of war as a sport. Folks, this isn't a football game. You should pray for these people. And pray this kind of violence is never seen around your home. Having said that, I know Israel will "win," but at a dear cost. This isn't a game. I support Israel's right to exist and defend itself.
