That's because the drone strike is being covered up.

Why a drone strike - was it accidental or on purpose?

Didn't someone digging, cut the gas line, which then leaked into some of the houses, causing the explosion. Or a I thinking of another one.1dunno1

Officials are still not saying, but HERE'S THE STORY:

Root Cause of Explosions...

Building a Housing Development on top of OLD OIL WELLS!

According to this article, the problem is the same across the nation, after oil drilling in the suburbs in the last half of the 20th century...

My guess is that local governments are terrified of the legal mess, and they will try to cover the whole issue up, hoping the casualties and the destroyed families will just fade away into public forgetfulness.

Quote:

In the early to mid 1900s Indiana was a state where oil and gas exploration and development was in high gear with many oil wells sprouting up in many parts of the state.

Literally, thousands of wells were drilled in Indiana from about 1869 well into the 1900s and oil production continued to be good until the late 1950s. With this in mind it is safe to say that the Richmond Hill subdivision either lies near or on areas where wells were drilled decades ago.
As we have seen with the BP disaster in the Gulf of Mexico where methane gas was responsible for destroying the rig that released millions of barrels of oil into the Gulf.

The same may have happened in the Richmond Hill neighborhood.

The buildup of methane gas can occur at any time near old oil wells that have been capped and out of production for decades.

Re: anyone have an update on the cause of the Indianapolis gas explosion?
They are still saying it is under investigation and called in more investigators. They say the blast area is so large it is taking longer than they expected. I guess they have figured out that whatever happened originated inside the ground zero house - not outside or leading up to the home.

The owner/occupant of the home and her live-in boyfriend turn out to be very suspicious and it *seems* like this is going to turn into an insurance fraud attempt gone horribly wrong. Or it's a great set up.

But no, no official cause has been given yet.

The couple that died are being buried today.

Re: anyone have an update on the cause of the Indianapolis gas explosion?
So possible causes include ?

drone strike, either deliberate or accidental (went off course)

methane gas buildup from old oil wells in area

attempted insurance fraud

Something odd is going on; Half a dozen+ Homeland Security agents don't just immediately show up without something triggering their interest.

I agree. The amount of people investigating this from all different sources is suspicious!

The news has died down here in Indianapolis about this... and this saddens me greatly.

I live very close by and if there are old oil wells under ground, this could affect me in the future.
