Thanks in advance, I have more questions if you want to answer them. # ie, historically with a majority of the population following Christinaity. |

But i respect religions. 2.Would you call yourself a full on muslim or just muslim by birth and go through the motions? A muslim by birth. 3.Do you drink alcohol? Yes i do. 4.Is alcohol drinking considered evil or do you guys just do it secretly and say whatever. According to Islam it is not good to drink too much alcohol. You can get drunk and do foolish things. Pretty logical wouldnt you agree? 5.Which of Iran's neighbours do you joke about or hate (I'm Scottish and we hate the English and joke about the Irish as being stupid) Nobody. 6.How do you feel about the fact that in Christian countries# a lot of laws are being passed not to offend muslim sensibilities, ie, no Christmas Trees, praying to Jesus in schools. I don't live there so i don't really care. As long as people are safe and dont hurt each other i'm ok with it. 7.Do you like soccer? I love it. I'm a big fan of Liverpool FC. Thanks in advance, I have more questions if you want to answer them. # ie, historically with a majority of the population following Christinaity. |

Is this true? As far as the internet goes, are you free to browse what sites you want, post what you want, blog what you want? Or are a lot of websites blocked? Would anti-regime postings get you in trouble? And lastly, do the people of Iran fear the government, regard it as oppressive? Or do they see it as just and fair? Would you say most are "in support" of the current regime? Last Edited by KonspiracyKitty on 11/19/2012 04:55 AM |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 14397275 United Kingdom 11/19/2012 04:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks. 1.You said you're not a muslim...but muslim by birth. What do you mean? You either are or aren't. My wife is Colombian and says she's a Catholic, but doesn't believe in all that. It simply is a wholly cultural aspect of life there...it's a catholic country, you are a catholic. Do you mean the same? Being born in a wholly Islamic country makes you nominally a muslim, wether or not you believe, you have to just join the status quo, and keep your individual thoughts to yourself. If so, is that the same for a lot of you, or is it just younger people? I support Chelsea 2.Would you be free to act the way you do now in Iran?Turkey is less strict. |

Would you say most are "in support" of the current regime? No we are not. The government restricts political activism against itself and the ayatollah Khamenei. If you do and they find out, you go to prison. Everyone fears their government. There is no such thing as fair in our world my friend. Most are not in support of it, nor are they in support of western governments. |

My guess is they are not so enlightened as you. The average person on the street..we are led to believe they are all full of hate, out in the street all day demonstrating and calling for the death of all Christians in the West. So if not all are like that, then how many? About 90%? lol |
