Re: ARKstorm Hitting PNW.....now...More To Come
Quick Facts

In the strongest cases ARs can create major flooding when they make land-fall and stall over an area.
...

A well-known example of a type of strong AR that can hit the U.S. west coast is the "Pineapple Express," due to their apparent ability to bring moisture from the tropics near Hawaii to the U.S. west coast.
.....

A strong AR transports an amount of water vapor roughly equivalent to 7.5–15 times the average flow of liquid water at the mouth of the Mississippi River.

On average ARs are 400-600 km wide.

disregard source...sorry it was the first link i got...

[link to www.theweatherspace.com]

but this is some SHIT, people...i've been trying to share info on the ARKstorms for a couple years now.

"An upper level low is forming south of Alaska, which is keeping intact through the week for major storms to continue to hit the Pacific Northwest in what is known as an 'Atmospheric River scenario', or a river of tropical moisture. (BUT IT'S COMING OUT OF ALASKA...not sure i understand this)

Flooding, thunderstorms, and strong winds will continue to pound the Oregon and Washington areas through this week, with the storm split in various pieces."

now look at the intellicast sat (note the chemclouds heading into mexico off the pacific, wow how obvious can it get!)

[link to www.intellicast.com]

pull it over to the pacific/pnw/west coast.

THAT is what an Atmospheric River looks like.

A film describing the ARkStorm scenario by director, Theo Alexopolous, and DesignMatters, Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. The ARkStorm scenario led by the USGS and hundreds of scientists and experts from many disciplines details impacts of a scientifically plausible storm similar to the Great California Storm of 1862 in the modern day. The scenario led to several important scientific advancements and will be used by emergency and resource managers to improve partnerships and emergency preparedness.

Re: ARKstorm Hitting PNW.....now...More To Come
Even without knowing their cause, California has had epic floods during its history, and recently emergency planners have begun to take the "deep present" approach to them. What if the worst example we know, the great flood of 1862, were to recur today? That had the earmarks of an unusually large AR event or a rapid series of them. As the planning agencies contemplated that question, they prepared a scenario in 2010 with the Noachian name ARkStorm (for "AR thousand-year storm") clearly demonstrating that ARs are our other "Big One" beside earthquakes.

BINGO:

[link to fox12weather.wordpress.com]

Now, on to the weather:

We have a cold front just offshore this morning, with rain showers ahead of it in the mild airmass. The steady rain with the front will be here in the middle of the day with a break behind the main rain band occurring in the late afternoon and evening. This first system is pretty weak, it’s just “opening the door”…

From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday morning, a baroclinic zone (boundary between warm and cool air) sets up right over Oregon and Washington, first mainly over Washington, then sliding well down into Oregon Tuesday. This is an “atmospheric river” event with plenty of moisture to work with; thus a flooding threat depending on where the heaviest rain falls.

[link to www.noaawatch.gov]
The heaviest precipitation will be along coastal regions from Northern California to northern Washington state, where pieces of energy spinning around a closed vortex in the Northeast Pacific will continue to bring surges of moisture into the Pacific Northwest/Northern California.

"Isn't this what HAARP was supposedly built to do?"

Why, yes, as a matter of FACT!

"E-Systems specializes in the production of electronic warfare equipment, navigation and reconnaissance machinery, including "highly sophisticated spying devices":

"[E-Systems] is one of the biggest intelligence contractors in the world, doing work for the CIA, defense intelligence organizations, and others. US$1.8 billion of their annual sales are to these organizations, with $800 million for black projects-projects so secret that even the United States Congress isn't told how the money is being spent.( [link to www.earthpulse.com] )

"The company has outfitted such military projects as the Doomsday Plan (the system that allows the President to manage a nuclear war) and Operation Desert Storm." (Princeton Review, [link to www.princetonreview.com] )

With the purchase of APTI, E-Systems acquired the strategic weather warfare technology and patent rights, including Bernard J. Eastlund's US Patent No: 4,686,605 entitled "Method and Apparatus for Altering a Region in the Earth's Atmosphere, Ionosphere and/or Magnetosphere".

It is worth mentioning that the Eastlund /APTI patents were based on the research of Yugoslav scientist Nicola Tesla (many of whose ideas were stolen by US corporations). (See Scott Gilbert, Environmental Warfare and US Foreign Policy: The Ultimate Weapon of Mass Destruction, [link to www.globalresearch.ca] )

Eastlund described this deadly technology as capable of:

"causing…total disruption of communications over a very large portion of the Earth…missile or aircraft destruction, deflection or confusion… weather modification…" ( [link to www.wealth4freedom.com] ),

Not surprisingly, the patent had previously been sealed under a government secrecy order."

[link to globalresearch.ca]

Imagine how the global corporations could exploit such a system!

thanks for that link...washington advisory:

CUMULATIVE RAINFALL OVER THE LAST WEEK HAS SOAKED SOILS TO THE POINT WHERE THE WASHINGTON LANDSLIDE RISK LEVEL WAS MODERATE. THE PREDICTED RAINFALL COULD RAISE THE LEVEL TO HIGH. THE HIGHER THE RISK LEVEL...THE MORE NUMEROUS THE LANDSLIDES ARE LIKELY TO BE.

AREAS ABOVE 5000 FEET IN ELEVATION AND TO NEAR 3000 FEET IN THE CASCADES PASSES WILL SEE MOSTLY SNOW AND NOT BE AFFECTED.

WITH AN ELEVATED LANDSLIDE RISK...RAINFALL INDUCED LANDSLIDES ARE POSSIBLE DURING BURSTS OF INTENSE RAINFALL OR WHEN THERE IS HEAVY RAINFALL OVER A PERIOD OF A DAY OR TWO AS NOTED IN THE FORECAST ELEVATED RISK LEVEL. A GRADUALLY DIMINISHING RISK OF LANDSLIDES WILL CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL DAYS AFTER THE RAIN ENDS. AREAS MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO LANDSLIDES UNDER THESE CONDITIONS ARE STEEP COASTAL BLUFFS AND OTHER STEEP HILLSIDES.

Wet, blustery storms headed for Western Washington

It's too early to be definitive, but at least one leading climate model is suggesting very heavy rain could lash the region for several days, beginning Friday. Conditions seem to be setting up for what's called an atmospheric river — a fierce band of precipitation that could unleash 5 to 10 inches of rain in the mountains, Mass said.

Storms roll across Northwest, causing 1 death

The Associated Press

Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 | 2:19 p.m.

A storm bearing down on the Pacific Northwest has taken the life of an elk hunter on the Oregon Coast and hit the region with mudslides, high winds and mountain snow.

Chief Perry Sherbaugh of Nehalem Bay Fire and Rescue in Oregon says a fir tree crashed on the hunter's tent Monday, killing him instantly. Wind gusts of more than 70 mph have been reported along the coast.

Neither of us has had our ears ring that way, and I wondered if it was a solar flare or HAARP, we're about 150 miles from there but don't know if it can affect those of us living not too far from it.

people don't seem to understand, these are NOT normal winter storms.

this is NOT common in this area...the 'models' (see the ARKstorm vid, it's 3:43 or so long), and the info pages of what they are forecasting for the bay area/so cal. i've linked it and copied out pertinent texts, though it's all a good read. however, this is an arkstorm in PNW, which was not in the forecast models.

Reporting in from the 45th parallel. Pacific northwest Oregon.

Heavy winds 35-45 with gusts to 50 at times at my place. A few limbs down in the yard with very heavy rains. Yes the rain is thick and I've seen worse.

Gutters can't handle the downpour, streets are flooding and a local creek is at its banks now. I expect flooding to the local neighbors who are closest to the river.

No leaves left on the trees, sky are solid rain. Above average rain but no doom in my opinion.
