well, its not about choosing to believe in him. You're heart tells your mind that he is there, if you can not sense the cosoms as they pass through you then your heart is clouded and your mind is being deluded.

"Hell" is a place one puts themselves in if they so choose, we are each our own judge, we create our own reality. If you are a good, loving person, and you are good to others, chances are, you are creating a good place for yourself in the afterlife, if you so choose.

From my experiences, I feel much more loved and loving knowing that God and the angels exist. They have helped me in many ways.

I wish you many blessings on your journey That is, if you choose to receive my wish for blessings to you.

You can believe in a Source of creation without believing in any particular book, doctrine or theology. Our Creator isn't the problem, the dogma, doctrines and ideologies are.

Not to mention our true Creator could care less whether you believe in the existence of or not for it's your right to and not to do so. Our Creator doesn't demand worship, isn't jealous and is a part of you and everything around you, even if you choose to believe differently. You don't have to believe, it's totally fine. Each person's journey and experience here is as unique and individual as a snowflake.

As to why you should or shouldn't, there is no answer to that, it's an individual choice, not a requirement.

You will undoubtedly be told differently by most here, but that's ok too. Believe whatever you decide you should.

It depends how you define God.

If you define "God" as the Hebrew God, then your logic holds true.

If you define God as the source of everything, bad and good, then it's just simple intuition.

Also, from the little of what we know about some guy who lived that went by the name of Jesus, we know he never advocated torturing bad people, he advocated forgiving them. Also he never mentioned this idea of hell.

That isn't what the book promotes so your current version means you have the right attitude, for the moment.
