Re: Does anyone actually believe the words of the bible to the point they have no use for doctors?
OP--Thanks so much for this video. I didn't watch the whole thing but within the first 15 mins I was floored!
I have had many direct encounters with God when it comes to supernatural healing and I can vouch for God when it comes to that. 2 years ago I had a DR tell me that I most likely had cancer and it most likely spread. He said I only had to have the tests done to see where it was and how far it had gone.
Well, the DR didn't make my body so as far as I am concerned he didn't know all that much. I went to the maker of my body and asked him to fix it and today I feel great!Doing very well (with some issues )but not worried about dying that is for sure.
Doctors certainly have their place and for immediate pressing issues such as trauma, bleeding, pain, injuries, etc. Of course I would go to the ER. But I do not discount what God can do. It is the trust that is so hard to maintain because of our constant exposure to the world system. ( I hope people understand what I mean by this).

I should have died many, many times in many different ways but I didn't. God made me and my days are written out and numbered. That is fine with me. I trust him and that is what I work on everyday. Just trusting.

Again, thank you so very much for this video. I will watch it in its entirety later.

God Bless You!

I didn't put the video up but I too enjoyed it the same. Actually, the more I see the confidence in others about not following the social norm when it comes to my health, the better off I seem to be.

The interesting thing that struck me the other days is, how in the world does a cow live on grass. (Cows of old, not the new manufactured cows we eat.) If a cow, or other animals, can live off hay and grass, why am I eating so much grocery store junk? It would seem all I really need is basic stuff. What about Eskimos?

But, on another point though in regards to the video, wouldn't the worship of herbs also have its downfall, just like doctors?

And to the discussion about matter and energy. This is all well and good, but the question here is trying to understand the transfer of energy. Saying that energy is matter and matter, energy does not help unless the mechanism for is change can be explained on our level.

But, then again, maybe that mechanism has already been explained, and it is called faith.

Maybe the real question here is, is immortality really about faith. In the grand scheme of things, maybe healing is not really all that important, but understanding that whether one is healed or not, they still go on.

Maybe, when we are young we're absolutely sure we will wake up to a life tomorrow (or maybe it is more, we really don't care), but as we get older, that certainty becomes not so sure and we worry. Believing in tomorrow, one way are another, seems to make all the difference in the world.

Just going to the doctor should answer that one for itself... doctors will tell you they have no idea what they are doing and the most they can do for you is mask your symptoms..... My doctor came right out and told me we do not treat disease, we only treat symptoms to make you more comfortable as you die!

Most of the medicines Western doctors give cause more issues, often more serious, than the problem they were meant to treat. There are smarter alternatives than throwing your body out of whack with a synthesized chemical, or even a natural one, that lacks the decades or even longer history of many natural foods and medicines.

The doctors cannot prevent death but they can line your pockets as you make your way to that station.

 Quoting: Lada D

The Word of God says so, if you can accept the plan He has for your salvation.

But I guess believing in the Word is the first huddle.

Preventing physical death? That's for overcomers and it is actually what I am really trying to find out here. Whether someone believes in God or not is not really what I am after. My question is more for those who are beyond the salvation story.

I have also fought death many times and for some reason I bounce back each time. I feel I have to go through hell in order to find heaven and God is making sure my journey is eye opening.

We do not worship Herbs. God put plants and herbs on earth to give us fuel in order to be healthy. God created Herbs therefore herbs are part of God, just the same as Humans. We have been blinded by man made laws. Doctors are taught a craft and they have forgot what actually heals. They are controlled in order to keep the economy flowing and the death rate high. I spent my entire life around doctors but now I have seen the light. Never again will I allow them to practice on me, especially when it is something I can do myself.

This guy heals with herbs alone. Dr. Sebi has cured all disease with herbs. All disease is said to come from Mucus. Dr. Sebi uses only natural herbs while the other guy uses many hybrid herbs that are all around us. They both use herbs but different ones.

I just don't understand why the struggle to live longer. If God is ready to take us, Godspeed!

If we are already avoiding vice and gluttony and are keeping ourselves clean we shouldn't have too many health problems. Also, we need to remember to ask our food to be blessed in thanksgiving.

If we do these things, we will not be immortal, but we shouldn't have any need for herbs, Shamans, Doctors, Witches or anything else.

Should there be an accident, it is appropriate to recieve aid in stitching, splinting, casting and pain relief along with antibiotics if necessary. It is appropriate to have attendence at birth. It is appropriate to have hospice at death.

Now, modern living poisons the body at birth with immunizations, formulas, pasteurized and cooked foods, GMOS, Additives, preservatives, air pollution, mind pollution and harmful memes all well before we are even at an age of accountability.

We must realize that we are under a full attack by the adversary, and except for our Salvation in Christ, we cannot win. We cannot defeat Death *right now* and must await resurrection and the Kingdom to deliver us from the all-seeing eye and it's schemes.

My aunt (mother's sister) was a devout Christian Scientist. She get sick when she was 49 and would not go to the doctor. She died. I was only 4 years old. My grandmother was also a Christian Scientist. She was actually a reader there which is like being the preacher. I attended church there when I was very young but do not remember much of it. Today, I would not consider myself a christian...I did consider myself a Christian in my early twenties but not anymore. I listened alot to Eckhart Tolle and became more spiritual. Lately, I have realized that Tolle is similar to Christian Science....or at least that is the way I see it. I find that to be a huge sychronicity. I am now reading the history of Christian Science and about the life of Mary Baker Eddy. Each to their own, I say.

I don't think I am trying to figure out how to live longer on this earth. Living a better quality life while here, yes. But, even getting to that point takes effort.

I question the religion of Christian Scientist as a valid path to God. As most man made religions it is only a door to the one path of spirituality that will bring one into a right relationship with the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Nothing more.

I am a 58 year old physician and I know that by following the Word of God from the Bible you can not even get sick. If you are sick, if you follow what the word of God tells you, you will be cured. In Genesis He tells you what to eat for meat. The Jesus tells what to substitute for dead flesh. That only the beginning though5a

I would love to hear more from you since you are a doctor. Do you agree with eating nothing but natural foods that God has provided? What do you tell your patients when they are looking to feel better? Are you prescribing man made chemicals are telling them that health is found in the food they put in their bodies? It is nice hearing from someone who is able to see both sides of the issues. I imagine most people will get upset if you told them to change their diet to a natural diet that did not include blood or starch.

I'm not the Doctor, but the problem that Jesus has with the "Natural Foods" diet(s) is that you essentially replace God with an endless quest for foods, herbs, etc.

The time and resources spent on acquiring these things is anti-Christ.

You going to fly in Acai berries from Peru? You need to eat Coconut Oil by the bottle when 100 years ago nobody even knew how to extract it? (Just an example, don't get worked up)

You need to chain up 1000 native Africans to find and scrape Tree bark from Lion infested Savannahs so that your kneecaps will be properly lubricated...

Can only go to Whole Foods to buy your strawberries?

This is not what Jesus Christ would advocate. He would tell you that it's not what goes into your body, but what comes out of your mouth.

Further, he would explain that anything offered in Love or taken in thanksgiving will be good for your body, provided you are not treading into Vice or gluttony.

You do more karmic harm refusing a ham sandwhich because you're Kosher when your Aunt makes one for you versus eating the Ham Sandwhich, making her happy and giving purpose to the pig that died.

For example.

Humility, gratitude and openness to recieve in Love.

That's Christ.

Endless manhours worrying about food...that's Satan.

Makes senses to me. Even though what those who promote herbs and natural foods say, it seems beyond what a normal person who follows God should be forced to live by. I have always been leery of those who promote a product also sell the product. Seems like a conflict.

And with most of the items in a grocery store junk, I have been wondering how does one go about separating the junk in a grocery store with the foods that one could eat that would promote health. The grocery store is the most practical place for us to get food these days. And so there most be foods there that are reasonable.

I guess the question I would have is, out of all the foods in a grocery store, how does one go about choosing the right ones to promote a healthy life style. I understand fruits and vegetables, but what else? Meats? Canned foods? cereals? I have gathered white bread is bad, but what about breads with other whole grains?

Has anyone ever put together a list of items that they buy at a grocery store that follows the healthy lifestyle pattern? I would like to see that list.

really? that faith will not heal mangled twisted broke legs, orthopedic specialists are required, unless the person is good at setting his own messed up leg. lets get real here, this was not the teaching of Jesus. That is not what faith means. Most of "faith" on this world are ignorant of what the word means.

GIVE ME TODAY MY DAILY BREAD, AND THUS, LET ME RECOGNIZE MY TRANSGRESSIONS AND ERRORS, AND I SHALL RECOGNIZE THE TRUTH. AND DO NOT LEAD ME INTO TEMPTATION AND CONFUSION, BUT DELIVER ME FROM ERROR. hfI agree with you. It is VERY Hard trying to find food that has not been tainted with chemicals these days. I just left the grocery store and 95% or more contain chemicals I could not even spell. I know of someone who recently moved here from Peru and was shocked that we did not have fresh foods being sold either at corner markets or grown locally all across towns. She was also shocked how much package foods we consume. The package food is nothing but a way to keep us down where we do not know our true-selves. One thing I have noticed is more people are getting away from prescription drugs and using food instead. Natural Food is medicine. Natural food doesn't have to be from another country. We have plenty of land to grow what we need. Most are too busy chasing the colorful paper.

Hmmmm.......that's really a good question OP. I do believe that the Lord uses doctors to help some people and I also believe in miracle healings.

The time is coming when we will have no doctors or hospitals and we will really rely on God 150% for all of our needs and we will see miracles happen like never before.

It will be an amazing time, a great revival!

Re: Does anyone actually believe the words of the bible to the point they have no use for doctors?
Is there anyone one who has that faith?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26807639

really? that faith will not heal mangled twisted broke legs, orthopedic specialists are required, unless the person is good at setting his own messed up leg. lets get real here, this was not the teaching of Jesus. That is not what faith means. Most of "faith" on this world are ignorant of what the word means.
 Quoting: God Loves ALL

Actually, if a person had the faith I am talking about, a mangled twisted body would not be a concern, except of course if such a thing were allowed by the Creator for a purpose. You're assuming that the faith to heal would be greater than the faith to not be mangled. In my mind they are the same.

As the rulers asked Yahshua if the boy was blind because of his sins or the sins of his parents. And He said, neither, his blindness was to reveal the will of God. And then He healed him. Trusting God's power seems to be the purpose.

The faith I am talking about has to do with completely trusting God for everything. Healing is probably the biggest concern of ours. Money would probably be the next. But since I have, through God's help, overcome the worry of money to a large degree. Now, the next is healing.

Is there such a person among us who has reach this level of faith? I would like to meet this person to learn how I can build my faith to that level.

OP, you can't learn faith from another person. Pray for it, ask the Lord to increase your faith to that level. He will answer you, be persistent and keep asking until you receive it.

Not true. Yahshua was a teacher. He taught how to have a relationship with God, and He taught about faith. All the prophets were teachers and they taught about faith. Not too mention the apostles who did the same thing. Those who followed them learned something of faith about God. People go to church to learn about God. I personally believe that elders have much to teach when it comes to life, and more so if that life is around God.

I know perfectly well that faith comes from God. If you haven't figured it out, this is my prayer to God for faith. To send me a teacher to learn about their faith so that I can know what to ask for when I ask to have that faith to trust Him for everything. That is what is really involved with my request.

I guess I could wake up tomorrow and have the faith I am looking for, but how long would it last. From what I have learned, God builds on foundations and sends teachers to help with stumbling blocks. And when He builds it lasts.

To say, "God give me faith", doesn't seem to cut it. I have learned that the level of desire has a lot to do with the level of response. What are you willing to do for what you want from God? Not that it is about works, but more how deep does it go in your heart.

Thank you for sharing in my prayer.

OP, what I'm trying to share with you is that it's not about words or learning, it's a change in the heart and mind of a person. Faith is belief and trust.

The prayer for faith is powerful. Praying for faith, praying for a change in heart, praying to be used as His vessel, to be used to do His will on earth. Prayers must be inline with His perfect will, and not our own selfish desires.

Prayer is the key and the Holy Spirit is the teacher that you are asking for. The Holy Spirit is the comforter, the instructor and our guide. Men are fallible, but the Holy Spirit isn't.

Re: Does anyone actually believe the words of the bible to the point they have no use for doctors?
Wouldn't it be more logical from a religious stand point to take medicine and all sorts of medical science as a gift of god?

Instead of saying that it is totally separate from God's creations.
 Quoting: ShabbyOrange
Im a natropath,I Use doctors as a last resort, I only need an eye doctor as I wear glasses. I use herbs, minerals, frequencies, and try and eat right.
The medical industry is so corrupt and greedy, its hard to say what to be thankfull for. you have to learn about this. The planet is mineral deficient allowing parasites to enter our bodies. The industy is cashing in on this. Things like colloidal silver, the herb wormwood kills parasites. Parasites and pollutants are the cause of all diseaes. If you have a good honest doctor, be thankfull. My eye doc, a good man and all, told me I had macular degeneration, and there was no cure, went home used my frequency generator, and cured it. So you have to learn.

It all starts with 'words and learning'. Who do you know that had a change of heart without some type of words or learning. Prayers are words for a start.

I know what you are saying, but parroting the typical Christian's doctrine of faith, is in my mind a bit like milk for food instead of meat.

I know what I want. And I know what I am asking. However, I could be asking wrong or with the wrong motive and so, based on my faith, I am hoping the Holy Spirit will guide me to the correct way to ask. Whether He wants to hit me with a bolt of lightening or have a child walk up to me and say a word that makes me change, does not matter. I am looking. God sees my heart and no one else does.

I know you think you are here to try and help me out, I appreciate that, however, have you considered the possibility that I may be here to help you out?

Probably not many left being you know, dead because they didn't go to a doctor. That's okay though! they get to be in a magical city in the clouds.
