This is an obvious troll thread, but the truth is that it is a sin for two reasons. First, lust is a sin. Second, masturbation is the misuse of sexual organs as God intended them, which is for sex within marriage only. Our bodies are also temples of God so this is a sin of the flesh like drunkeness or gluttony.
